After the first one the fear was still in the back of my mind but it got easier to take them on with each encounter.

Hunters could have been top tier. In the first game, they got the atmosphere but are quite dumb and boring in fight. In the second game, they're hell to play against, if you make one mistake they will wreck you and are quite aggressive,, but lack the mystery and atmosphere.

It's interesting reading some of the comments of people who had no idea who and what the hunters were Think one player even said something like "I thought a dev went into the game to mess stuff up" or something I love shit like that where you're so used to something and an update releases something new without you knowing. so cool

I've defeated enough Hunters to think that I shouldn't be afraid of 'em, but a battle with one when survival extraction is on the line still makes it daunting. In Legendary, I'm like the guy at the bar who picks a fight with the wrong person and then hides behind his friends (throwing bullets like insults)! 😄

This is the best game ever created, it's sad to see that ubisoft doesn't take care of the good maintenance and good reputation of its games. To this day people still play division 1, but the game was destroyed by cheaters. It's sad to see, this game made history. I made the best friends of my life in this game.

hunters display the morale and skill of the second wave agent you play as, being infected and stranded in a blizzard with no resources and surviving by scavenging the remaining scraps of resources while fighting to stop the ticking time bomb that is the sepsis virus, being forced to enter the restricted "dark zone" of new york to escape, and then when being finally given the chance to escape, having to battle an anomaly with a skill level higher than theirs. with better equipment and armour, able to mimic the moves that we do. and yet we still end it. man we're strong guys 😳

I wish they brought this theme back in The Division 2 when we were against The Recruiter

Honestly, Ubisoft could make survival its own battle royale type game, and I'd play it. Having an objective and timer mechanic keeping you on the move feels better than a slowly closing ring.

The first time I've encounter the AI (Hunter) that actually used their brain and tactics

I just encountered my first hunter yesterday, I was doing a high tier mission with some people who invited me, and during a the final phase where we fought high level lmb, I saw a enemy with the name ‘hunter’ at first I though it was just a rouge agent but after every one else was dead, this enemy was still standing (health down by half) so me and the squad moved up only for him to take down one in a single punch, the fear of realisation came over me when he pulled that axe on our downed team mate, from there we unleashed everything we had, seeker mines, turrets ect until he finally died.

Ngl I loved how 14 said “it’s lovely to meet you” even know we did the prison break, the humid lab heist and doomsday with him before the cutscene took place

When I started my first survival extract: I thought the hunter was just another lame dumb landmark boss, I got the disrupted status effect, so I thought it was gonna have more armor and health. But when the spawn smoke popped up BEHIND ME, I ran and escaped the one-hit axe, I shot the hunter in the head like 5 times, dealing lots of damage, But it healed itself, I GOT EVEN MORE SCARED, but someone griefed my extract and spawned another hunter, one tapping and executing me. I thought wtf just happened for one minute before someone else came and revived me and we got the hunters and extracted with 27 Seconds left on my timer.

Whenever I do underground I always prepare after I finish an OBJ just to be sure. I can always tell when the next OBJ takes a while to show up and I get the disrupted debuff that I know I’m in for a scrap

I've never played Survival, but once I beat The Division 2, I'm gonna replay The Division and but the season pass, but first I gotta get my PS5 repaired.

It helps me sleep good at some nights
