Purgatory and Marian dogmas are found in Holy Scripture, implicit or explicitly! Holy Scripture teaches we shall each be judged as we have judged others and we shall each be held accountable for every careless word we have uttered and shall each be liable to judgment if angry with others and we shall each receive recompense for BOTH the good AND THE BAD we have done in the body and we must all strive for that holiness without which no one shall see the Lord! "hearts are stuck" (Fr Schmitz). "Joseph ... took his wife" (Mt 1:24). Mary in uncertainty (cf. Lk 1:29, 34) of what she "believed" (Lk 1:45) kept the inseparability and qualitative equality of her thinking (cf. Lk 1:29; "... considered in her mind...", 34: "how can this be ... ?") and her heart having faith (Lk 1:38: "let it be to me..."). On this reference point of Mary, Pope Francis in his consecrated celibate marriage vowed to man in Christ on 17 June 2021 in uncertainty of his belief kept the inseparability and qualitative equality of his: (a) ensuring his procreation role gift charity donations embezzled by ten of his Vatican state citizens/employees, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu, by authorising their criminal indictments on which convicted on 18 December 2023 in his Vatican state court, (b) simultaneously insuring his need of union of his identity in his consecrated celibate marriage at unacceptable risk of fraud by the Italian Parliament "Zan" anti-homophobia bill by simultaneously authorising a protest note against this bill to the Italian government then defeated on 27 October 2021.

@@robbiechambers1036 When Jesus ascended into heaven in 33AD, he left a church and no book or writings, led by a group of men with authority with one of those men having primacy. This church, the Catholic Church, with authority given to it by Jesus, gave you the Bible 400 years later and this church has the sole divine authority to interpret it for Christian doctrine. You are welcome to read it but you do not have the authority from Jesus to create your own doctrine. You either believe Jesus when he actually said he would build his church on Peter, he would send the Holy Spirit to guide that church in truth always, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Or you believe a man from 500 years ago or 5 days ago in one of tens of thousands of conflicting man made denominations. Hi! Well, Catholics ARE Christians, so its not either Christian OR Catholic. Catholic (universal) Christianity claims to be the unified Church that Jesus founded upon the Apostles. He promised that the gates of Hell would never prevail against the Apostolic Church (Mt 16:16-19). The Catholic Church is not going anywhere.

Wake up Catholics stand firm with Christ because He is the head of the Catholic Church that He build only one church through His Apostle Peter only and the popes are the successors right from His Apostle Peter. ONLY THE SON OF GOD CAN BUILD THE CHURCH. but now there are thousand of churches build by men they were reject and against HIS CHURCH. Our Lord Jesus Christ is an Emmanuel which mean GOD WITH US. Yes, Christ is with us always in the BLESSED SACRAMENT waiting for all of us who believe in HIM to repent and to receive HIM with our humble hearts in the form of bread and wine. Jesus Christ He pray for our Church that He build through Peter only. Luke 22:31-32 - "Simon, Simon, behold, satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail and when you have turned again, strengthen your brethren". John 6:55 - Jesus say "for My flesh is food indeed and blood is drink indeed". John 6:60 - many of His disciples when they heard it said "this is a hard saying who can listen to it?". John 6:66-67-68 - many of His disciples drew back and no longer went about with Him. Jesus said to His 12 Apostles "do you also wish to go away?" Simon Peter answered Him "LORD to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life". John 6:42 - the jews said "is not this Jesus, the Son of Joseph whose father and mother we know? How does He now say "I have come down from heaven?" Jesus answered them "do not murmur among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the FATHER who sent draws him and I will raise him up at the last day". John 10:9-10-11 - Jesus say "I am the door, if any one enters by Me, HE WILL BE SAVED and will go in and out and find pasture. The Thief comes only to STEAL AND KILL AND DESTROY; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the SHEEP". John 10:25-26 - Jesus answered "I told you and you do not believe. The WORKS that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness to Me; BUT YOU DO NOT BELIEVE, BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELONG TO MY SHEEP". John 7:18 - Jesus say "he who on his own authority seek his own glory but he who seeks the glory of HIM WHO SENT HIM IS TRUE AND IN HIM THERE IS NO FALSEHOOD". Mark 13:5-6 - OUR LORD JESUS WARNED US "take heed that no one leads you astray. Many will come in My name, saying I am he and they will leads many astray". Mark 13:22-23 - JESUS CHRIST WARNED US "false christs and false prophets will arise and show signs and wonders to lead astray IF POSSIBLE THE ELECT. BUT TAKE HEED I HAVE TOLD YOU ALL THINGS BEFOREHAND". John 12:48-49-50 - JESUS WARNED US "he who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; the Father who sent Me has himself given Me commandment what to say and what to speak. And I know that HIS COMMANDMENT IS ETERNAL LIFE. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has bidden Me".

We don't go to Mass firstly/solely to RECEIVE the Eucharist. We go to GIVE our lives to God in the form of our participation in the unbloody representation of Calvary. Our participation should be primarily in/of the heart. The Mass is the "work of the Priest" acting in the Person of Christ - not the work of the people. Yes, the Eucharist is the "source and summit " of our Faith, but we don't just attend Mass to "get Jesus ". The Mass should be Christ centered - not man centered. Too often, when there is not a clear understanding of what the Mass is, the Priest becomes the facilitator/entertainment and the laity the audience. This is the perfect reason for the Priest not to face the people, but face God - acting in the person of Christ - most especially during the consecration. "The Mass is the Sacrifice of the New Law in which Christ, through the ministry of the priest, offers Himself to God in an unbloody manner under the appearances of bread and wine." The TLM communities/parishes are booming. There is a reason for this. I know that is where I finally found that union with Jesus. My 11 year old grandson went for the first time about a month ago and liked it. He is now training to become an altar boy there. Why would a 11 year old sports minded, adventurous, intellectual boy be so attracted to a Mass that he knew nothing about? The answer lies in what I experienced. There is something inherent in the TLM. Even though I didn't know what was going on like I knew the NO, and the chanting seemed to go on forever, I knew one thing after that first TLM, I finally had that unity with Christ that I had longed for and I had finally found my home. I judge the heart of no one wherever they attend. I am not qualified and it is not my job. My experience simply has to do with finally finding that unity with Jesus and therefore simply wanting to attend Mass - as there is where I encounter HIM who I love and want to honor and give my life to.

There are other reasons why Catholics can't fulfill a Mass obligation at a Protestant service. Pope Pius XI forbids us to do that. I don't want to offend anyone. But I need to quote that Pope and St. Ignatius of Antioch. In Mortalium Animos, PIUS XI writes: "10. So, Venerable Brethren, it is clear why this Apostolic See has never allowed its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it. To the one true Church of Christ, we say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it. During the lapse of centuries, the mystical Spouse of Christ has never been contaminated, nor can she ever in the future be contaminated, as Cyprian bears witness: "The Bride of Christ cannot be made false to her Spouse: she is incorrupt and modest. She knows but one dwelling, she guards the sanctity of the nuptial chamber chastely and modestly."[20] The same holy Martyr with good reason marveled exceedingly that anyone could believe that "this unity in the Church which arises from a divine foundation, and which is knit together by heavenly sacraments, could be rent and torn asunder by the force of contrary wills."[21] For since the mystical body of Christ, in the same manner as His physical body, is one,[22] compacted and fitly joined together,[23] it were foolish and out of place to say that the mystical body is made up of members which are disunited and scattered abroad: whosoever theref www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xi_enc_19280106_mortalium-animos.html I'm not suggesting that that Catholics should reject their non-Catholic religious friends. But I can't go to their services. If I attend them, I seem to believe what they believe. Ignatius says: "They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they confess not the Eucharist to be the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, which suffered for our sins, and which the Father, of His goodness, raised up again. Those, therefore, who speak against this gift of God, incur death in the midst of their disputes. But it were better for them to treat it with respect, that they also might rise again. It is fitting, therefore, that you should keep aloof from such persons, and not to speak of them either in private or in public, but to give heed to the prophets, and above all, to the Gospel, in which the passion [of Christ] has been revealed to us, and the resurrection has been fully proved. But avoid all divisions, as the beginning of evils." Protestantism implies what Blessed Pope Pius IX called "religious indifferentism." Religious indifferentism is the heresy the we have a God-given right to practice any religion that human reason recommends to him. Lutheranism, Methodism, Pentecostalism, Presbyterianism, and so forth are different religions. After all, the have different doctrines and different founders. For me, Christ's Mystical Body is the Catholic Church. Only Catholics are members of the Catholic Church. The Church is not an interdenominational collection of Christians. It's the institution Christ founded in the first century. Protestantism is a 16th-century invention.

Second, how can any Protestant denomination call itself an authentic Christian church when it originated after the first century?

The Masses that Father Gunther is talking about are called Gregorian Masses. These are a series of Holy Masses traditionally offered on 30 consecutive days as soon as possible after a person’s death. They are offered for one individual soul. The custom of offering Gregorian Masses for a particular soul recognizes that few people are immediately ready for heaven after death, and that, through the infinite intercessory power of Christ’s sacrifice, made present in Holy Mass, a soul can be continually perfected in grace and enabled to enter finally into the union with the Most Holy Trinity - our God, Who is Love Itself!

Christ's humanity has no other subject than the divine Person of the Son of God, who assumed it and made it his own, from his conception. For this reason the Council of Ephesus proclaimed in 431 that Mary truly became the Mother of God by the human conception of the Son of God in her womb Mother of God, not that the nature of the Word or his divinity received the beginning of its existence from the Holy Virgin, but that, God united to himself according to the hypostasis, was born from her, the Word is said to be born according to the flesh.

What would you pay more to see: (1) Fr. Burish with a 40-day beard, or (2) Fr. Guenther clean-shaven with short hair? Thankful for these priests.

Amen. Excellence in all that was stated. Waiting a long time for the veil on the chalice and all that goes along with this. Thank you
