Some of Mark Knopfler's guitars (Frontman of Dire Straits) recently auctioned at Christies one of which was made by Stefan Sobell who makes guitars near Hexham Northumberland Stefan and his wife Liz were fantastic folk singers back in the day and used to look after the Blackgate Museum in Newcastle. That guitar reached £40,000 at auction.
