2024 was the best year of railfanning
Hello! My name is Archer, and here’s my channel. I usually do alot of videos on the Union Pacific Geneva sub/Metra Union Pacific West line because thats my closest railway. Here, expect daily vids (any time) of trains passing on my railway, old videos, or other random stuff. I will go into the City of Chicago and railfan places like Galewood, Canal street, Cicero, PTMP which stands for Ping tom memorial park, and various other places. Im also a fan of birds and will occasionally post videos of birds. Im also a fan of Aviation, so i will post videos of planes and helicopters. A fun fact is I didin't get into railfanning when I started this channel, I was into trains when I was only a baby! Thats pretty much all i have to say. New railfanning spots will come!
Equipment:
Video: iPhone 11, JVC Camcorder, Canon SX520 HS(sometimes), and a old green camera for backup

Not a parson, they have much thicker legs and don't lay anchor webs, which is what allows this little guy to dangle off your hand!
Hard to tell what it is in the video, but the general shape and fact you mistook it for a parson makes me think it might be a young ant mimic sac spider, particularly the long-palped ant mimic since they have similar markings to the parson spider :]

I also Railfan on Saturdays so that is great I would like to meet at May St. or Edgebrook Metra if that’s okay with you. Also I can’t go south past 35th cause of a grandpa saying it’s dangerous
