Yes I do! I would cut each piece a little longer to accommodate for the change of thickness in cord

Do you think 3mm macrame cord will be fine? would it support less weight?
I do not recommend 3mm, I don’t think it would be strong enough. If you were using it for maybe a cat bed or something it would probably be okay though.
