Great video! I will say tho that we get similar critiques every year about NYFW being dead…and yet and still everyone is still covering it. So, I definitely think it’s still worth it to show there for new AND established brands bc, despite what ppl say, you’ll still get the press. Many American fashion designers and general fashion enthusiasts (such as myself) are bored of being told that we should be looking to Europe since it’s really only a handful of European designers giving what needs to be gave, and New York has never not been an important fashion city, so I don’t see the merit in brands not doing what they can to create the kind of Fashion Week a city like NYC deserves. It’s truly not impossible and the talent IS there.
