Futurism certainly is an interesting interpretation. But it is just that, an interpretation. There need not be any mystery here. The opening chapters very clearly and without conjecture indicate who is the audience and what is the timeframe. Spoiler alert it is not the present day. The intended audience of the book as stated in the book is seven first century churches concerning things which must soon take place.

That's basically the very same thing it's expressing in the KJV. What your saying it means in Hebrew is the same thing that the King James is implying.

Nicely done. May I suggest turning to Proverbs 30 which was written by a quirky little-known prophet named Agur. It includes an amazing prayer asking God to help us find our sweet spot. There's also a thought-provoking book that teases out truths from that chapter and helps readers find balance and identify their sweet spot called THE PRAYER OF AGUR. It's even more engaging and powerful than THE PRAYER OF JABEZ from a few years ago.
