Has anyone had any problems since they used this method? I just did this but I want to make sure it's a long term solution or if I have to send it back. Will need to use it in the next couple of weeks and I dont want it to break down on me. Any advice is appreciated

I had the exact same issue. I put a couple of drops of oil on the underside of the rotor, on the center shaft. Worked in about 5 seconds, back to %100. These are brushless motors, so there are no electrical contacts internal to these outboard motor assemblies.

I loved the architecture of that building. Looks very similar to the Gaisano Mall in CDO. Same owners of course. I wish I could have gone to it and seen it in operation. Do you know when it was built? When the fire happened? Thank you for posting this. Wish I could find more on it.

Cheap Chinese metals :) I had same thing yesterday happen to me, i went to land it on a washing basket and the blade clipped it, just touched it, no broken blades/No damage....just said motor stuck contact DJI. I turned the drone off and back on again and the message went away but will get some electrical contact cleaner to clean it anyways as dirt & dust is always in the air. Thanks! I hadn’t used my drone in a while and same exact thing. Got an engine malfunction error and it would barely rotate by hand. Used some electrical contact cleaner and it freed it up very quickly. Sprayed the other three just in case.

When you rotate the blades with your finger is it normal to make that clicking sound? 3 out of 4 pairs for me make that sound. No problem in flying though and no error on screen

I just had a possible sticking issue with my mini 4 pro and I got zero error code whatsoever. I've only had my mini 4 pro just over a month. I'm really scared to fly right now. I always hand launch my drone and something just felt wrong when I fired the motors. So I aborted and took it inside to check to make sure all the propellers were tight. Then I put it on the floor and fired the motors again. My exact same motor as your's in the video was out of sync with the others and made the drone shudder violently for a brief second during idle on the ground.

You're the man. I got a mini 2 se it's basically the same motor configuration this is probably gonna help. My motors feel knochy but the all spin and are working its just some are more grabby then others and I can tell it's needs cleaning
