I totally get what you mean about mom friends. I was the first of my friends to have kids and a lot of them didn’t understand somethings change when you have kids. So right now I only have one long distance good friend and she isn’t big on kids. My hubby and I are moving 2hours away from family very soon and I’m hoping we can make some parent friends and let my toddler experience some play dates. I’ve got her in play groups and activities but I feel like a lot of the moms where we are now are in the keeping up with the Jone’s life style and all trying to one up each other, that’s just not me. Fingers crossed we can make some good friends! And you too!

It’s been so lovely spending a lot of August with you; you can tell your confidence with vlogging has grown so you’ve achieved your goal whilst having two small children?! Amazing!!! I love a theatre trip but I haven’t been in ages, I’ll be on the lookout for something to go and see now! Xx

So strange as I’m actually 34 weeks AND planning a home birth AND using hypnobirthing techniques. So weird 😂 but just wanted to thank you for being so honest. Ahhh!! I went to the eras tour in June in Cardiff, it was up there with one of the best nights of my life! Honestly if I could recommend one thing it would be: wear comfy shoes!! A 3.5 hour show with uncomfortable feet is less than ideal, I took my shoes off! Wish I’d worn cute comfy trainers!!! Have the best night !!! Xxx

Aw I really feel for you at the end of this video. I was so excited initially when you mentioned you'd got Eras tickets! You deserve to go and have a really fun night but I can completely understand your worries and can relate. One thing I try to think about is what advice would I be giving my friend if they were saying the same thing, and I'd be telling my friend to go! I think they'll have extra extra security measures in place after Vienna so I'd like to hope its even safer than usual ❤

I can very much relate. Following some losses in my life I began to have intrusive thoughts that I would pass and leave my little girl. I know in my rational mind that it's unlikely but it's still a huge mental obstacle to overcome. I can also relate to the mum guilt, massively. I balance it out with the thought that it is good for children to see a parent who has many aspects to what makes them happy. Time with friends, time with their Dad, time alone. All the things you want for them to have in their adult lives we can model. It is definitely an anxious time in the world though.

Can completely understand how you feel!! I definitely find making a plan is a good thing but also really struggle sometimes to think of things to do or just getting the energy to do it. I'm in a similar position with friends too and it's hard when you're on your own most of the time in parenting mode, sending hugs, you're doing such a great job mama!! ❤
