These classic wagons and vans also are getting POPULAR again, I own a classic dealership in Northwest Arizona and the classic and wagons are by far my most wanted car to find, my daughter works at an RV Campsite and she said she's noticed more and more of the little 16'-22' being towed by Classic Wagons and Vans. With the economy is the tank thanks to the Democrats people no longer have the money to go to Disney or fly to Mexico, Hawaii or The Caribbean for vacation with the family so they are buying a classic Wagon/Van and a small camper and hitting the road like they did in the 50's- mid 80's for pennies on the dollar and seeing the U.S. again.

Tom, & all, thanks… Interestingly, I made a lot of same *type of improvements on my 1966 FORD 500 XL GALAXIE; 4 speed/352/ dual exhausts/Deluxe Black interior ( HUB CAPS always RATTLE)///* DEEP BURGANDY, & doing METALLIC *Brakes/Coolant Recovery* System ((* from Ford Performance @ local Ford Dealer , only initially, Until Auto Stores /parts got the KITS/Assembly)), decent Tires (* BFG?), Monroe 500 Shocks(*?., forgotten positively)//etc.,Oddly, lots if quality workm@my GULF SERVICE STATION(* with a real Mechanic @Purdue University 1967: & local Mechanic )…..Actually turned out good driver,reasonable gas mileage…until 1975 ish..THEN fell,for 1976;BLack / Gold TR@N Am;* ordering in OCT 1976, a * 1977 HURST HATCHES/SE/ loaded((* before Smokey Bandit drama).

Had one just like this.First thing I did was take off that f.fender. liked the alum. fender in back instead of the fiberglass boat tail rear fender of the original! Big taco was a blast to ride, had intake modified from 36mm to 40mm to accept a 40mm go cart racing pumper carb by Kendick Eng. in Chatsworth, Cal. Added around at least 10-15 more h.p. more than stock 43 h.p. Raced i/4 -1/2 mi.flat track+T.T.steplechase dirt track with it. Also Pursang 250cc"red+silver" not the red pelican modle"before mine. Had a real gas racing both, especially the big "modified" 360 Bandito!👍👌🎯 Beat all the big bore 2 smokers❗🥳🤠👍

I had one in the early 90s.. It was great until the hot weather set in . No AC.
