Great. Video

Im gonna upset alot of people with this but Kenilworth stadium is disgusting even for a "old proper stadium" the seats are uncomfortable, there are seats with a pillar in the way and I saw fans slagging off some lady doing their laundry
Birmingham city have already purchased 60 acres of land for over £50 million pounds. The new stadium will hold 60,000 and have all the training pitches on site as well. The owners say it will cost between £2-£3 billion and they're hoping for a 2029 completion date.
£2-3 billion doesn't sound great value for money for only 60k capacity even with pitches hotels hospitality shopping housing etc. And where the hell are they gonna get that amount of money from. The city council are hugely in debt recently
2:10-2:36 the two football clubs who I support
Utter keech. Such contradictory bollox difficult to surpass. Old or brand new - no pleasing this colonial moaner. Try pronouncing Saint correctly and some might take you seriously. Doubt it tho.
What a load of crap. Grounds critisised for being old and traditional and for being modern. At no 3 shows pictures that are not Hillsborough.

OMG. Americans, just stay away from making videos about football in the UK. It's embarassing and insulting to us. " Small Clubs ", they have big stadiums because they can fill them with supporters every week, you jerk.
Sheffield. The home of football.
Lol Old Trafford!!
The Maracana in Brazil can hold 200,000 fans. These stadiums are not big at all.
This reaction just shows how senile and bed ridden you probably are. The last time Maracana filled with 200k was the world cup final 1950. Before the WC 2014 renovation it was capped at 95k and with the renovation it is set at 78k. But since the world cup it hardly has been filled at capacity by the 3 clubs or the national team. When stadium don't get filled beyond 66% capacity they run at a loss (just like hotels or factories). So Maracana is big, but actually too big.
it does not now. it now holds 78000
@@garryedwards9382 What happened?
who care what it hold it ony gets used every blue moon
You’re comparing apples and oranges. That’s basically a national stadium, many of these stadiums are in smaller uk towns and cities.
Americans should keep there months shut when talking about football. Not only have they got most of the facts wrong they cant even say the words right.
Swillborough is a rusting cathedral superceded by Bramall Lane with much better facilities, playing surface, now premium on site hotel and plans to expand the south stand and kop stand to achieve 43000 capacity. Plus a team worthy of playing there.
Sunderland kept some Old Main Stand Woodwork and it was put in their new car park. Many years later, I hope it is still there.... Archibald Leitch designed Sunderland and many other stands over 100 years ago. Sadly, I think only Portsmouth, Fulham and (currently) Everton still survive in England......😢
The Bill Struth stand at Ibrox, the first and best.
@@nickabbott9539 nar its not you play in a micky mouse league playing micky mouse teams including celtic bullends road stand is the best and the 1st tp be buit in the 1st 4 sided stadium enjoy loying the title to celtic again this 2024/25 season
Sheffield Wednesday Hillsborough Stadium is the best stadium in Sheffield but the Sheffield United fans are just so very Bitter about it because SWFC has a better stadium and they have more history has a football club SWFC are still Yorkshires most successful football club in way of major trophies won
Shame it doesn't belong to Sheffield Wednesday 😂
@@alastair484 The owner of Sheffield Wednesday owns Hillsborough stadium. 🤣
yeah theyve won more trophies, but in recent years theyve been nowhere near united. the stadium is falling apart
It's funny that you saying even England won't play there that's how bad it is not to mention it gets flooded so you can fish on there for bogroll and human faeces😂😂best ground
The East Stand was built in 2010 at Easter Rd. And Pittodrie is a gash, worst away end in top tier.
You have bigger concerns
Hillsborough is also known as ‘The Rust Bucket’, due to it’s dilapidated condition, (ie falling apart).
Hillsborough stadium is better & bigger than Bramhall lane and Swfc have won more trophies than SUFC so what’s your point
I'm not even from Sheffield and yet I know that it's Bramall, not Bramhall@@MarkPitsmoorOwl
Since when was Barnsley ''in Sheffield City''?
Worksop's not even in the same COUNTY?!
Rotherham/Chesterfield now....why not title this thing ''in the Sheffield area'' or some such?
Exeter fan here, yes Exeter played Brazil in 1914 but that game took place in Rio.
More American crap 😂😂😂 Stick to your own circus of a country
Typical clueless American in his pronounciation! Aberdeen's stadium is said Pitt-o-drie. The stadium is very close to the North Sea.
Easter Road in Edinburgh traditionally had a "slope".
who gives a sh2te
Understand this: All of the clubs you mentioned are aiming for promotion to the Premier League. Most if not all of them have been there. How do you think they would look if they got promotion, but could only accomodate small crowds? They'd look like Luton. As Luton's joke of a ground is stuck in the 19th century, they only have capacity for 11,000 fans, meaning they could capitalise on bigger ticket sales during their stay in the Premier League. Moreover, if you're trying to attract top players to your club, it helps if your stadium shows ambition. Even Luton know they have to build a bigger, better one.
@@nmarks how about Bournemouth - several seasons in the Premiership, doing nothing to improve a ground that can only hold 11,000. What I don’t get is that away fans are restricted to about 1000 or so at Bournemouth but their away allocation is 3000. If they can’t/won’t expand the ground, fair enough - but forfeit your away allocation as a penalty. Why not require all Premier league clubs to have a minimum 25,000 capacity - and a grace period on promotion to achieve that? If Luton couldn’t achieve that then play ‘home’ games at a London stadium. And Bournemouth, at Southampton.
Cardiff City demolished their old stadium (Ninian Park) and built a new one (Cardiff City Stadium) as the old one was old and decrepit. The new stadium was opened in July 2009 and within just four years they were promoted to England's top league (the Premier League) for the first time in over 50 years. They were relegated at the end of that season, but they were promoted back to the Premier League again in 2018 for another season and that means we've seen some of the world's best players and teams play there. It is also where the Wales national team play their home games and those are a guaranteed sell-out every time. We are all very proud of the new stadium; it looks great and it's brought prestige to the city. Cardiff Cty's team might not be doing so well at the moment, but than can change. And BTW - the Championship is a fantastic competition in its own right.
Typical Yank has No fkin Idea about UK FOOTBALL
My Fulham on there ,not big not small I suppose but still a lovely ground .
@@raymondbonington9355 When are they actually going to open their ‘new’ stand? New 50,000 stadiums have been built in a shorter timeframe!

fulham is a dump in the time it has taken to build the new stand is it even open yet? everton have buit a new ground
@@ajp8941 upgrading their historic stadium is much more complicated than putting up some cheap prefab from scratch. It’s on the Thames river!
It's because alot of clubs have been top flight clubs at one stage . Oldham used to be in the top division. Reading - were for a while The list would go on and on and on over 50+ years . The championship in my opinion is the best second division in the world .Even division 1,2 are pretty impressive in comparison to most second divisions around the world. Personally- I even think our national league is good . I think you could be entertained with any of our leagues . My Dad grew up in Highbury - sp obviously an arsenal supporter . But now in his 70s - he can't afford arsenal . We have been a few times together- but he goes to football with his mates sporadically to " leyton orient " and still has a great day out. I myself don't go to football anymore, I don't even watch it in the pub either . But do like a ENGLAND game
A lot. Two words, not one.
@@englishciderlover7347 Saving the Internet one post at a time ?
You missed Tottenham. After all you included Derby, Blackburn and Preston, all of whom have won the title as many times as Tottenham. Sunderland have won the top title 6 times, three times as many as Tottenham.
Tottenham are a big Premier League club went from 36,000 to 62,000 seater stadium. They're not a football league club (championship - league 2), unless they get relegated which is very unlikely
spurs have only won the top flight league title twice there last 1961/62 there 1st being 10 years b4 and there 7 behide everton villa have won it 7 times
How could you consider bradford a small club with the average home attendance they get
Brother man, would kill to get a ticket to Bradford, probably harder to get a ticket there than Liverpool and it’s in league 2
Sunderland r massive club 40 k every week
Massive laughingstock.
FTM@@alanplant2262
Well supported club but there’s an element of bullshit about those gate numbers though, a la Arsenal 🤣
you dont get 40 k every week as you dont play at home every week when i watch the hilights or a live game it is empty even when you play boro or newcastle in the cup
Sunderland, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest are small clubs? 😆😆. You should call it big clubs that are not in the EPL at the moment. Except Ipswich.
And forest
@@wdg6478 Yes, yes. 😜
Obviously the famous Sheffield Wednesday must be a big club with big stadium
Ipswich and Forest aren't small clubs! 😂
ipswich are small forest only big as they won the european cup twice and knocking holders liverpool out in the lat 70's winning it back to back done f^ck all since
Can't understand why MK Dons' stadium MK isn't in this;30,500 capacity, universally praised as one of the best grounds in the UK,but with a hopeless team playing in it in front of just 6,000.
Agree, it’s not well researched and he obviously knows nothing about English football. MK Dons and Darlington are famous for having tiny support but playing in huge stadiums that they have no chance of ever even half filling .
A good point: most of these clubs referenced would be filling 75 to 100% of capacity on a regular basis so the stadiums are not out of line with their support. Charlton in the past had 75,000 at the Valley; Hibernian 65,000 at Easter Road.
Mk dons has got to be top spot, surely
Luton once try to relocate there even if it's only for transition purposes. It’s reasonable since they are 30 minutes drive away from mk and have routine bus services
@@afcHalifax-xy5uu I think they had a lunatic owner at the time who eventually cost them huge points deductions and a five year stint in non league. I remember one of his plans was to build a 75,000 all seater stadium, saying he'd buy and get Bedford Rugby team to play there to (I quote)"Give Luton's Asian community something to support" !!?? Well, you know what those Pakistani's are like for their Rugby! Can't shut them up about it-go to the corner shop for a pint of milk and you're there for four hours listening to the history of greatest scrums of all time ! Makes you wonder how low the "Fit and Proper Person" criteria are. Insane meglomania is obviously a plus in the FA's reckoning
U forgot hull mkm stadium 🏟
Why a yank again
Can’t understand why Newcastle united aren’t on the list. Derby have won the league twice since they last won a trophy! 😂😂
Yes, but the 1972 win was due to a mistake by the referee, which he admitted to.
You think a club averaging 50,000 per game is small? 😆😆😆
Maybe you can’t understand because you’re a bit foolish 🤔😂
Because Newcastle are a big club 😂
@its about to go tits up for our black n white cousins.😂hehypno77
Yes but no but
All great stadiums in Germany cheers from Newcastle
All small clubs are just as important as the big clubs , they would be stuck without the small clubs but the media are obsessed with big clubs & it's wrong , SMALL CLUBS RULE !!!!!
Exactly, we are all brothers and sisters
The smaller clubs act as filters, filtering out the best players which the bigger clubs then sign.
I must visit Manchester, Italy sometime.
