Malcolm X-Grass Roots Speech in Nov. 1963
Malcolm x spat facts MLK shouldve took notes
Of all the samples Hideki Naganuma used for"Wrapped in Black" from Sonic Rush, it's this political speech by Malcolm X. I'm blown! 😳😳🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Left:Too black Right:Too strong
Blaze! It's closing in on you!
I know
WRAPPED IN BLACK IN BLACK IN BLACK WRAPPED IN BLACK
Sonic Rush anyone?
Too black, (wrapped in black) too strong (wrapped in black)
I find it odd that this speech was sampled and used as part of a video game’s music background.
2:08 Hideki Naganuma: “I can make this catchy.”
Dont know this reference, please share
@@aliel-husseini9143 Hideki is a music producer, who is well known for his works in video games like Sonic Rush, Jet Set Radio, etc. This clip of Malcom talking about black coffee, was used by him as a vocal sample for the track “Wrapped in Black” from Sonic Rush.
I'm here because of Public Enemy
Never badder than bad cause the brother is madder than mad At the fact that's corrupt as a senator Soul on a roll, but you treat it like soap on a rope Cause the beats and the lines are so dope!!!!
When the black is wrapped.
Too black too strong
@@songamer7896 Wrapped in black black black, wrapped in black
this speech is so iconic. i love it.
Yes, these are 2 excerpts of speeches by Malcolm X. But putting them together like this is at best ignoring the context and at worst implying some other context. His words that followed the second excerpt directly were "This is what they did with the march on Washington".
80% of the comments are related to a sonic rush music 20% the actual speech
IMO the biggest tragedy of this man's life is when he dropped his racist attitudes and was murdered for it. I truly believe the world would have been a lot different had this man lived. Now, he lives as a testament to the violence of the extreme ideologies he tried to escape from.
2:08) Hideki Naganuma: WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!
Sonic rush reference
The Cofee analogy is so dumb and to be expected I suppose from an incredibly dumb person... "Too strong? What you do... you integrate it with cream." That's this "revolutionary" big moment? This literal brainlet saying that adding dairy to coffee somehow makes it weak? Dude... chemically speaking it is literally the exact same amount of caffeine and stimulant. All you've done is you have now recognized that you can take something bitter, and bland, and tasteless, and crass, and horrid, and putrid, and every antithesis to the palate... and you've now recognized that you can improve it. You can introduce something nice. Something sweet and flavorful and vitamin rich and crucial for your development. You're now able to imbibe something that was meant as nothing but a bare bones, bottom barrel beating beverage and improve it to something decadent, to something classy, to something worth putting your time into. You want to extend the analogy for your garbage propaganda? Sure. Let's take that analogy. Let's take that to its final consequence. Malcolm X was one of if not the dumbest little monkehs to ever disgrace this world that we've made.
Yikes... Malcolm X would HATE what modern black people have become.
Amen brother
The people of today in general go completely against what the rights movements were all about in the 60s. It's just pure corporate greed
@@JaredGonzales-gv9yh you had me in the first half
You def have comprehension issues if you seriously believe that lol
@@dirtydollargrabber projection in the comments after a year. Yikes
Malcom X Sonic X I just made that connection

Where's the "wrapped" part
@@notaprogamer2782 I think that part was made for the song
This still resonates today. This should have 50m veiws and shares.
Certainly a powerful prelude to the Civil Rights Movement which seemed impossible in Alabama where "Boy" was your first name and death was in the shadows.
Dj Professor K: 2:07 we’re wrapped in black too strong
Before MLK. Teach your children Everything. As I did and still do. It makes them strong and hunger for more. It's the only solution to healing our conditions in our neighborhoods. Not rhetoric. Leaves leaders we have lost have laid down the blueprint for greatness. Take heed. Men and women. Lead by example and take your place as leaders in your own households. I am Thankful for the Reverend John.
Thank you,so very true today 🙏🏾
