When you want to “win” it means you want others to lose. That’s kind of a messed up way of thinking. You’ll never here Jesus or any spiritual person talk like this. Don’t sacrifice your health, family, and happiness to “win”. You just need little bit of money to have a decent life. No need to be so hardcore about life and success.

For every scholarship you get, for every college you chose to enter, for every job you landed, there will be someone who didn't get a scholarship because you took it, didn't get into a college because you snatched the seat, didn't get the job because they chose you instead. For all forms of success, there will be a victor and a loser. As Newton said, for every action there is an equal opposite action.
