Costa Calma Hill Walk: Fuerteventura.
If you're visiting Costa Calma and fancy a break from the beach and hotel pool, there are plenty of walking trails available. Here is a trek into the sandy hills of this part of the island. I was in the Playa Esmeralda Hotel. BTW: I belatedly noticed the Fuerteventura typo within the video.

This is a pleasant walk from the small resort of Playa Taurito to the picturesque town of Puerto de Mogán. They are very close, but the walk involves crossing from one steep barranco (ravine) into another, along some rough tracks. It's worth doing, but could be a bit challenging for some. @@wardaledillard8553 When the immense damage on Union Island is repaired, I think - and hope - that Palm Island will also be rebuilt.
I was just there from May 25- June 1, 2024. I am heartbroken over the devastation cause by the hurricane .
@@LisaWalsh-p1l It is indeed heartbreaking. These people need a lot of help right now to get over this. It will take time, but they’ll do it.

I lived on grand anse beach in the late 1970s. I was a medical student at St George University school of medicine. Things have changed alot since then i believe in no small part due to influence of thousands of students from 100s of countries. The abandoned building most like housed students at one time. I was in the 3rd class to attend the school..it has grown tremendously
