I read it as. Hit the trait skill, replace your action bar with magus skills. Your auras would have to keep going and buffs auto cast, or it would be shit. More buttons, but you're probably just spamming one skill

Fingers crossed it works that way. I really want to make use of that buffed Panacea for constant life recovery to offset the golem degen. But not at the cost of a movement skill.

I find mind control as a concept to be extremely simple and with swamp changes it should be pretty good end game. But that's my personal opinion

They are both great starters. Keyword. Starter. Both are fantastic for the first week and initial farming. Both, at least in current seasons, fall off and require large investment to do end game (T8+). Where as other builds may require investment to match these two classes early

I’m new to torchlight infinite but generally a new league/season means new character. I started one to try out the game a couple days ago but when the new season starts I’d imagine you all start from scratch.

Indeed. Just like PoE, your current stuff will go to standard and there will be a new league, new economy etc. You will carry over your extra inv slots, extra stash tabs, revive tokens. But most other things are wiped

G'day. I honestly didn't realise! When I was putting together the video I was looking for gameplay as this was also mentioned and I couldn't find any, in any of my build guides. This will be fixed as it's a pretty vital point! I think I did seasons ago. But with so many videos, I seem to have fallen back into the trap of implied knowledge which definitely doesn't help new players

Erika should be good. But it's top 5 of my personal opinion on builds I've either played or have seen people play.

It's definitely not bad now. I didn't play her last season and didn't really look at too many videos on her. She should still be good

Yes iris2 is tied to the battle pass. All other heroes are free

@@Gooba03 Yea, in the video, Precise: Seal Conversion has added line -50% additional sealed mana compensation so it will be just slightly better than the normal one. So the usual setup with two big auras using Precise: Seal and then more aura affect with Malleable or Selfishness wont be possible or only with big investment in mana compensation. On the other hand, it might have good synergy with new Lone Walkers shoes:) But I really dont like that we are 2 days from season start and patch notes are not final. That's just bad.

Well. It was mentioned that they wanted other talents to be used more. 'normally' that means NERF the good ones. Hopefully it's just a buff to the others though which is how it seems

@@Gooba03 they can always update the patch notes with a quick nerf to OTBT but I don't think that will happen cause you still have the drawback of taking the whole tree for OTBT and +3 all skill and maybe energy shield cant be interupted (which can just be on a slate) over an entire minion tree

@@Gooba03 Feel like they would've mentioned it in the patch notes, since a few other talents were listed as being changed. Though I get their point since Warlock felt mandatory for a good few builds.

There was a lot of data missing from the patch notes. So I guess we shall see in a few days 😀

torchlight has been around for years. they had some pre-seasons, so at some point the company itself started using ss, since there was a lot of confusion around season3 being called season 1 or is season 4 or preseason and the like. Gooba using ss is inline with the games developers or CM. However to be honest in TLI SS stands for many things: standard season supreme showdown shadow swamp shadow shot star stalker shadow strike - spell tag

True, hopefully the additional exclusive supports can enhance MC and Shadow Swamp to make Youga2 a good endgame character.

Lol. Nothing has changed on Youga2? Also, I won't recommend a class (other than the seasonal class) that I haven't played. So there's a lot of theoretically good classes coming out this season. But if they don't work then that's worse than recommending something people will definitely be able to farm in T7 with.

Not well. But supreme Showdown is not a league start mechanic either. With the new supports it may do well. But they're not released yet

Currently you need to use off the beaten track and the converted skill must have 3 supports. Next season you will need other seal compensation to counter it

@@Gooba03 Still does not work. Even if i disable all other 3 passives. "off the beaten track" is enabled. Skills are: Elemental Res. 16(+3), Restrain 16(+7), Seal Conversion 16(+7), Aura Amplification 16(+7). What do i miss?

Thank you! This class should be pretty solid as a T7 farming league starter and who knows. If the new supports are strong and possibly a switch to Shadow Swamp aura, it may be a T8 farmer also!

Shortened duration only reduces the duration by 7%. However, it gives a MASSIVE +35% Additional Damage. Reap damage also doesn't care about DoT Duration. It takes a snapshot of say 0.25s worth of damage. If the DoT lasts for 1 second and that is reduced to 0.93 seconds from shortened duration. Reap is not effected at all.

Unsure. I've never used ring of ice personally. May be worth a try to see if it works though
