Why on earth is this podcast always posted twice on your channel?

Hi guys , so enjoy the show guys, love the podcast and your interview with Maria was perfect.Looking forward to the Christmas wishlist podcast for the ideas.DaBrim aren't paying you enough Adam lol Hoping to join you for Brag. From near Toronto and trying to sell a little house in Ahwatukee Az this winter. Hopefully we get a couple of rate cuts ! Listener spotlight . Love this section of the podcast, but recently have only been able to hazard a guess , based on 3 or 4 clues. This week's listener spotlight . Have some Bushmill 16 year old whiskey on standby for the next podcast broadcast. Guess is Sacramento California. Here are the reasons I think why 1. Settled by John Sutter , a swiss citizen , and other swiss settlers in the 1830's 2. The settlement was called New Helvetia . Helvetia means Switzerland in Latin . BTW Helvetica is a font designed by a Swiss person lol/ 3. Around 1850 the city was incorporated with the name Sacramento ( sacrament in Spanish) , named after the river . Sacramento is the oldest incorporated city in the state of California and is the state capital 4. Gold was discovered and the Sutter gold rush happened around 1848 so this was definitely the biggest industry at the the time in the area 5. The transcontinental telegraph was finished in 1861 with the western terminus ending in Sacramento. There was a separate telegraph connecting San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, the Pony express closed , as the telegraph was the new form of communication 6. Squirrels and birds. Not 100 percent sure about this . There is a new California law preventing the use of anticoagulants ( stuff like warfarin on rats) as a disposal mechanism . Think it has been found that the blood thinners don't dissipate and then are adversely affecting larger predators like mountain lions etc. Keep doing what you're doing guys !!!

Hi guys, Love the show , not only great entertainment, but you give out homework with Listener Spotlight . Congrats on breaking the 1k on facebook , 12k? on RUclips and the store . Mackinac Island is on the bucket list in something other than a flying Yugo Listener spotlight. So many good new laptop processors coming out this year , so will be acquiring intelligence with a new laptop when we get the sale at Thanksgiving Just like last week's clues had to do with Lewis and Clark and exploration of the Louisiana Purchase , this week IMHO has to do with what became of the acquisition . BTW I forgot about Sergeant Floyd and the monument in Sioux City Guess for this week is Colorado Springs. Think Adam has the state right , so should be rewarded with half the points. So why Colorado Springs ? There were trading posts established during the 1860's during the Pikes Peak Gold rush . The area became affluent and the town was established soon after. There was a Colorado territory , and there was a vast Kansas Territory as part of the "purchase" . So originally Colorado Springs was in the Kansas Territory. As the Territories were being divided , part of the Kansas Territory east of the continental divide ( Moffat tunnel in Denver ?) was ceded to Colorado and Colorado became a state in 1876. The fire clue drew a blank for me guys, There are 30 craft breweries in Colorado Springs and 360 in the State, so always close proximity to suds. The Rock ? Garden of the Gods maybe ? In Adam's vernacular I cheated , cheated big ! My incorrect answer is Denver Colorado. Why The reference to the county/Vice President/President makes me think that it's either Adams or Jefferson county . One would think that would make the task infinitely easier but there are 26 Jefferson counties and 12 Adams counties in the USA ! BTW Adam there is a Jefferson county in St. Louis. Denver contains both an Adams and Jefferson County Denver is gateway to the Rockies and a big railway centre , so two birds with one stone . 1889 World's fair Buffalo Bill ,William Cody along with Annie Oaklee had a travelling show during the Exposition and his final resting place is Denver Colorado Pretty lame answer lol. If anyone needs some trivial pursuits points here ya go The 1889 Paris fair commemorated the storming of the Bastille and the 100th anniversary of Liberty in France. The tour Eiffel was the highest structure until the Empire State Building in 1931 . The company that supplied the iron skeleton ( think it was associated with Gustav Eiffel) also supplied the iron skeleton for the Statue of Liberty. Otis , an American company, supplied the elevators for the tower, as no French company had the capability at the time . Thomas Edison had a big presence at the Exhibition , so this was was one of the first times electrical lighting was used The Paris Worlds Fair had 32 million visitors , which is amazing , including the aforementioned Buffalo Bill and Annie Oaklee. Love the show guys. Listener spotlight. At first I thought about Vancouver Canada,( a lot of the clues fit)but discounted that guess, as you said it's an an American Town. Had to look it up , got the Supernatural clue, but didn't know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was born In Seattle. So my guess is Seattle Washington . Have a great big Brag guys!!

Scott is my granddad! The stroke story is 100% true as I was in the house when it happened. Cycling has done him a great deal in life and given him n my grandma more excitement to look forward to in Retirement Life. He’s a wonderful person; Vietnam Veteran for Peace, Ally for the LGBTQ community, supporter of BLM, peaceful protest activist, active in his church, and a environmental friendly hobbyist :-) I don’t think y’all realize how much of an impact this episode did on him in the best way possible.
