It's so wonderful to hear Justin and John sing together in harmony. To think that nowadays they don't even speak. It's very sad! Love their voices in harmony

One of my favorite songs written by Justin Hayward. He has been a huge inspiration. I finally learned how to play it and perform it occasionally. It is difficult to play live because the guitar is tuned to DADFAC instead of the standard EADGBE. Unless you have two guitars you normally don't want to subject the audience to your re- tuning.

I've listened to the Moodies for decades and this is one of my all-time favorite songs.

The album BLUE JAYS has been among the top 5 albums in my life! After I got it I was able to start recording myself on a 4 track TEAC 2340 reel-to-reel that my brother Tom sold to me. BLUE JAYS is still amongst my top 5 albums!!!

Every song I've heard from this concert is a gem. Whole show should be released by a record company - but they won't because it was NOT the Moody Blues, but just Hayward & Lodge. Justin is at his musical peak at age 28 here.

I normally don't like live versions, but as good as the original moodies studio version was, this is actually better! Great audio quality too.

The studio album is lame compared to the live versions on You Tube. Too much strings on the studio album making the songs sound mushy.

The arrangement and especially the tempo worked great on this version. Who is that other crap band I've listened to for 50 years and seen in concert 13 times? It swallowed up this band and it disappeared forever. It this how the band would have evolved but was blocked by the Great Reformation in '78? Who knows? Great find this!
