Botanical Printmaking is a rewarding and fun art form. It allows you to capture the intricate and unique details of nature. I have made a step-by-step guide for anyone who wants to learn it! What is the thing you roll the ink on to?

@@lydiaorangeart5650 just watched the video and was so happy - it’s wonderful - I’m in Nova Scotia , Canada and we have lots of maple leaves and other leaves ! I will have fun this autumn . :)
Forgot to ask. Do you find very fresh leaves better than pressing them for a few days? Cheers.
Oh amazing yes Maple leaves are the best to use they always come out well! All depends on the leaves, I find waxy leaves will need drying for a few days. But maple leaves you can use them fresh :)

Thanks for your message! This was Versa Craft ink. It's water-based like acrylic but made for printing, so it's perfect for these kind of prints. :) I have a free mini course and PDF on my website if it's useful for you, it takes you through all the materials I use and the whole process step by step... Your work is stunning. May I ask what you use for ink? All I had available was acrylic but I'm finding that some areas get over saturated and others don't get enough ink. I'm wondering if there are better materials than acrylic for this process?
