How fast does the included solar panel recharge the battery? Does it recharge the battery when it's not connected to the radio. Good info.
I’ve only charged it partially. Yes, you can charge it on its own. Good question!
sorry but high grade leather dont stretch. thats more synthetic fibers than leather

You were spot on when you questioned the angle you were using. The angle you mention is imperative. If you don't keep the angle parallel to the bar, the gullet will not have the correct shape, and you will get nothing but very fine dust when cutting.
@@wotysgtb4348 yes! I had to figure that out!

I. tbought I was preppàrd Tornado toke my house left almost everything ealse
The best prep you can do is to know the terrain where you live. Is your house in a 100 year flood plain. Are there old landslide scars in the hills near you In NC all of those areas that experienced landslides were areas that had slides previously. It might be a couple 100 years, but if it has happened before, it can happen again. You'd be rolling the dice. It would be nice if people instead of expecting the government to "save" them after a disaster could be a little more tolerant of letting the government take steps to limit the effects of climate change. The sad truth is that we are way past preventing it. It's now a matter of how bad it will be. Literally every day that goes by without action is going to make things exponentially worse in the future for your kids and grandkids.
Do y'all recite sonnets in between sessions at the shooting range?
Hahaha.. as warrior poets, we should!
The original lcp is my choice it's a great little gun. The lcp is larger wider bigger not much but IT IS i love the way the smaller one feels shoots carries. In fact I bought 2 of the smaller original lcp.
Super helpful overview. I’ve been looking at these and it’s nice to see one in greater detail.

Off topic... Is that the instinct 2? Is it the solar? What are you thoughts on the solar. I've had my instinct 2 for a while now but it was stolen. Not sure, if I should get the solar or stick to the regular. (Your watch)
Good question. Yes that is the instinct. It is not solar. I did buy a solar version for my friend and he loves it! But I can’t comment on whether it’s worth it or not. But they are fantastic watches. It’s funny, I do all of these reviews and videos and that’s the number one question I get from folks! Haha..
@provide_protect Oh, okay. Cool thanks. I'm gonna just get the regular instinct 2 again. I enjoyed it for the last 2 years. Thank you for the reply.

@@zac_m_c_glass That’s exciting!! You’ll love it.
I carry my original lcp 24/7 since 2010. I don’t know how many rounds but close to 900 no jams I don’t care about the sites because is a pocket Gun not to mention I practice with this little guy every time I range no matter what other gun I have
@@edisonhidasett2187 Good to hear! I’d rather spend my money on training and ammo! Thanks for sharing.
I recommend a solar charging power charger just in case an emp hits and you can’t plug it into an outlet. That way you can constantly charge whatever you need to charge
@@gavinthehammer5390 Great thought.. After I posted this video, I had the same idea when recording the Tigrett Outdoors Radio Bag, which has a solar charger in it. Thanks!

your laughter reveals your true belief. You think ham radio is a bunch of geeks and social outcasts. Get licensed, and find out how great radio is to incorporate in your other hobbies. You're eyes will be opened once you quit listening to the retard rubicon.
What warmth level is this jacket sir looks nice?
I’d be fine in temps as low as 35 degrees (F) without “working.” Doing activity, I could go much lower with this jacket.
Glad I found your video. Prayers for everyone effected by the hurricane. I've been a "prepper" for 25 plus years. The accumulation of stuff, gear, food, water etc is only a part of preparedness. Prepping is knowledge, skills, awareness of different types of emergencys, with the knowledge and skills of how to react in different situations, how to assess different types of emergency s and what actions to take.
@@smokymountainprepper8931 Thanks.. yes, it was a very tragic situation.
That's a great kit, especially if it also contains the key frequencies of radios other people tend to have laying around. If you're starting from scratch, you've got everything you need and can figure it out during an emergency, but hopefully it also has a table of contents or chart with it.
@@bendeleted9155 The pre-programmed channels are a nice feature! I didn’t see a chart though.
@provide_protect I'm guessing maybe it has the names on the screen at least?
@ Yes, correct.
@provide_protect Awesome 👍
Here's what I would like to see: More of us hams take the lead on the capability to receive & reply to emergency traffic on all of the radios people tend to have lying around, FRS/GMRS, MURS, Marine, CB, Business band, etc. Since we have the ability to reach out near and far, we can receive that emergency traffic and relay it or actually go out and help directly if nearby. It might take a couple of extra radios but it's really not that expensive. The Retevis RT-95 can be unlocked to mode 02 to accept all of the above except CB. A basic CB radio is cheap. You might also gain information if you plug in useful business/lmr freqs. Basically a local EMCOMM, as needed.
@@bendeleted9155 Yes!
Good info! Thanks
If you're serious about communication the working knowledge and licensing of all modes is recommended. Don't rely on just one. They all have different limitations and ranges. KC1NUW/WRNT247
I'm going to advise that you stay away from electric Arc lighters as well they definitely are cool it's not as easy as you would think to start a fire with one. Arc lighters require a certain amount of finagling to be able to use them effectively not to mention the arc behaves significantly differently compared to the flame on a plain old Bic. And before anyone tries to say that they are windproof and can't be blown out the or can still be messed with by the wind not to mention the small thing that you might be able to generate with the electric Arc can be blown out. Instead just throw in a Bic lighter or two if you want get some kind of lighter sleeve for it and then throw in some storm-proof matches and you'll be pretty much set. Also make sure that when you are selecting food for your bug out bag make sure you get something that doesn't require any preparation but rather can be eaten on the go. Because the point of a bug out bag is to get you from point A to point B as quickly as possible.
@@dutchvanderbilt9969 Good advice. I haven’t found any problem starting fires with the arc lighter.
My Dewalt pole saw is great too but it leaks bar oil too like this one. I’d like to pick one of these ones up for a nice lightweight saw
@@peterdragon6367 I’ve never tried the pole saw. Do you use it a lot?
@ not a ton but it’s handy when you need it. Wife got it for me for Christmas last year. Works good on 3” and under limbs. Starts to bind up on anything bigger. I just got a couple 5ah power stacks but haven’t tried those yet. Been using the 1.7 power stacks and they do ok
@ Good to know! Thanks!
Bruh it’s 460 Canadian dollars for me. I want that exact one but sold out

How far do these function as walkies on the GMRS channels compared to the lower power midlands and other walkies?
Obviously depending on line of sight and other conditions, my bet is that they would transmit/receive farther because of the output watts and antenna.
Could move a little faster getting too the point please
