@@nathanielmack1687 I personally did not have to go with a trainer so I can’t say what it’s like, but I do know that it is a top notch training program, I hope it doesn’t have too much impact on your decision

@@nathanielmack1687 I do believe they hire out of PA I know they have some dedicated runs and general freight that goes there, as for being a new CDL holder I’m not entirely sure but don’t see why not, if they did hire you, you’d most likely have to do the training program, I recommend giving a recruiter a call for more information

So cameras are triggered by certain events, like hard braking, hitting a good sized pot hole, basically anything that shakes the truck around pretty good, same thing with following a vehicle too closely, so no, they actually recommend phone stands

If you went to a school already, depending on your skills, it’s 50/50 you’d be with a trainer for a couple weeks. I went in with 6 months exp at the time and didn’t go with a trainer, but the route I run is in and out of Chicagoland and I had done that with my previous company so it really all depends. But I recommend giving the recruiting dept a call and see what your options are! Awesome place to work for and I’m still here

Now you will run into engine trouble over time do to the soot buildup. This has happened to my partner over the road twice doing this. Better to wait for “Continuous Battery Mode” in the optimized idle settings. This works if you keep your electronics running.
