The first part of our Indonesian Adventure at the end of 2022 was a visit to the Lembeh Resort and diving the famous Lembeh Strait. This area of the world is known for muck diving - finding amazing creatures in the plain sand bottom of the strait. We encountered multiple types of octopus, mandarin fish, pygmy seahorse, cuttlefish and more.

This is basically a slideshow of the best of my underwater photos from the trip onboard Gaia Love from 23 December 2022 to 2 January 2023. From pygmy seahorses to manta rays - we were humbled by the beauty and grandeur of this part of the world. Where appropriate I have added IDs for the creatures shown. Each photo is shown for four seconds.

A great day with good friends. Mira has just received her certification and these were her first dives after. Anacapa island was fantastic and the sea lions were a blast :) We even had a very friendly harbor seal pay a visit.

10 day trip aboard Undersea Hunter Group's Argo to Cocos island. We saw all the Cocos big animals - scalloped hammerheads, Tiger sharks, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, white tip sharks, Mobula rays, whale shark, and more. A fantastic trip with extremely challenging dives.

All week we were hoping to encounter a whale shark during our visit to Cocos island. Driving home from Monterey - saw this officer start the Traffic break process - we had a front row seat, so I hit record on the front camera a few times to capture the process. Never seen it up close and personal before. He did a fine job and cleared one item of debris from the highway while he was at it. Not sure what exactly caused the traffic break, however the work is greatly appreciated.
