Jonny, a skilled craftsman from Denmark, transformed a worn-out 4-door sedan into this automotive marvel. Powered by a French Flathead V8 with a 255ci 4-inch stroke and a blower Detroit Diesel unit 6-53 series, with a Volvo 240 transmission modified to fit the Flathead.
Maintaining the original front axle and brakes (converted to hydraulic) using a brake cylinder from a VW transporter. Boeing airplane Goodyear tires on the back and authentic WW2 magnesium P-51 Mustang fighter seats inside.
The rooftop has a unique history-it’s from a Wellington bomber propeller cover that never returned after a WW2 raid over Germany.

A rare 100 - year - old vintage bike, the Brough Superior SS80, that's still racing
Просмотров 10 тыс.11 месяцев назад
Would like to share the first interview I ever conducted. It was an honor interviewing and filming Motor Historian and Motorcycle Collector Mats Olofsson. Instagram @oldbikesandparts. "Superior Roaring Twenties" is about his Brough Superior SS80 and a fun story about how he became the owner of this very rare, unique bike. A big thanks to Isak for the editing! Instagram @isakfriberg 🙌 🎥 by @mack...
Swedish chopper riding. Warm breeze memories from the summer

Warm breeze memories from the last summer keeps you moving through, while you realize there is still about half of the year until you get back on the saddle without sacrificing your butt to be frozen. A good thing now - is to wrench, adjust, modify, design and make all better so when the time comes we will be ready to hit the road without touching the ground. Loads of thanks to you guys. @lills...
Motorcycle gloves. Vegetable Tanned Leather MackofMack
Просмотров 1473 года назад
In a world where mass production and fast fashion reign, 85% of the world’s leather industry relies on low-quality materials and chromium tanning, polluting the environment “WHAT IS ESSENTIAL IS INVISIBLE TO THE EYE” MackofMack gloves gives you the sense of freedom (sensitivity of the throttle and steering) but doesn't sacrifice the safety. Kevlar lining and reinforcements will protect from abr...
Motorcycle apparel with nostalgic aesthetics. Birth of MackofMack.

MackofMack was born when its founder, Mack, a wooden boat restorer and avid motorcycle rider, developed a reaction to his leather gloves. Like most consumers, he didn’t know that 85% of leather goods are tanned using chromium salts, which not only pollute our earth, but consist of toxic chemicals that can cause or aggravate skin allergies. Mack couldn’t find any 100% vegetable tanned leather gl...
A great story from you. I shared the video on my channel. Best regards Lars
Awesome! Thanks a lot Lars!
A very nice man. He should be the owner.❤
Many thanks for that! 🤗 🏁 🇬🇧
I'm in New Zealand & always, always from my childhood saw the hotrods & always said to myself i want some of that. It was always going to have a flathead, because as i kid i saw the engine everywhere & always heard it... & it had to be suicide doors so the '33 coupe has always been in my head.... Then this year in my 64th yr i get fired from my job of 29yrs & I suddenly realize that ship is sailing fast... i've left it all a bit too late. I am incredibly impressed by the car featured here, the level of dedication of the builder's skillset & level of workmanship... a credit it to you Johnny!
I'm 65 and live in the US. I started driving when muscle cars were cheap and had a lot of ones that it would have been nice to have kept. I also have a fondness for goofy little economy cars. Opel Kadettes, Chevettes and my favorite, the Ford Festiva. Interesting that you have built a beautiful car in the classic American style and I would love to have a little boxy Fiat, a 126 I believe it is. I think they were built in Poland for a while. Be proud of your build, nicely done.
what a pleasant relief from the US and Brit' vid's.
Great guy!! Great car!! LOVE IT!!
Wow, I really enjoyed that! I love Sweden too! Just subscribed 🇬🇧
I'm happy you enjoyed watching! Thank you Clive!👍

A wonderful 'rod; beautifully proportioned and a great stance, with superb individual touches. Great vid!
Thank you Tim. Wish you a great New Year ahead!
very nice work, well done, there two Brough Superior's on ebay at the moment in the UK (not mine)
Cheers Jonathan for a good words. Happy New Year!
@@mackofmack thank you,and a happy new year to you too
Luv it. Supercharger is just what a flathead motor needs.
fabulous and funny story thankyou
No, Thank You! Hope you having good holidays
Sixty my ass. Dude looks spectacular. Great car, too - consistent with a vision. One wonders where he got Mustang seats.
A lot of US WWII equipment got left in Europe. There seem to be a lot of Allison engines in European pulling tractors.
Nice Hot Rod 🔥 👍
The music junked another video 👎👎👎👎👎💩💩😬
I love the car brother.
60? dude you look 40!
Totally! Exactly what I told him
When I build my bikes I don't do what everyone else does, I build everything myself, I hate 'over the counter' parts. Anyone can just bolts bits on their custom build but it looks bad. Well done to this man 👍
This is the way to go!
I love this!!!!
Pleasure to hear this @weemsmotorco Thank you! ✌️🏁
The Chevy gauges are a cool touch. I recognized them right away from my Chevy Hot Rod pickup project.
Any before photos of the '33?
@jimbradley4565 Whole built photos you can find in Facebook group called "Anything 1932-33-34 Ford" facebook.com/groups/1311994958857521/permalink/4370580329665620/ Not sure if this link will lead you directly to the post though If doesn't, you can search for Jonny W Anker in the group and you will find his pictures of this built.
One of the coolest coupes I’ve seen, jeeze this guy is like one of the most interesting builders on the planet. Imagine this guy in Cali, with those looks and that car !
@kevinbarrett9615 I know...Jonny is so down to earth and don't give a damn and just enjoying his life in fullest. No face mask of pretending to be something. He has skills and being himself.
Well done!
Brilliant!
Nice Hot Rod ! Sharp build !
Outstanding film, please keep them coming.
@jeffreyrobbins688 Thank you Jeff for good word! I try my best and I promise...will be coming more stories about cool and true people and amazing stuff they make.
BIG WOW, FROM 'THE DUTCH DIVISION'
Very nice. Great to use odd items and make it truly yours. Beautiful car. Hello from Texas!
Ahhh the 33 coupé 😍🙌 I love this movie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As Brough Superiors go I've taken a sort of opposite route to you, I purchased a far from original 1933 11-50 in 2004 and decided as nothing matched it's build sheet I just made it how I liked, so it has Castles and a 1935 style engine and tanks from a 1938 SS80,. Then within a year I had started construction of a replica 1927 SS100 which I finished in 2015, this is almost perfect visually but is 1150cc with a 4 speed Sturmey Archer gearbox fitted with an almost concealed foot change mechanism and a modernish carburettor disguised with twin floats and the front brake is wider and fitted with an internal twin leading shoe mechanism. So it is quite powerful and fast but will also stop !!
Keep up the good work Chris! :-)
“If you can’t lean the bike against a tree, you shouldn’t use it”. What good sense! Big collections where the owner doesn’t ride the machines are a cynical affectation. “Built to be ridden” yes indeed! A great video of a sensible man. Thank you. Les in UK
Thank you for good comment @leslieaustin151 I acknowledge collections or museums who keeps vehicles in running order instead unreachable static pieces...as one of the best museums @wheelsthroughtime
Many tanks Les! The quote is actually from the ex owner, but apparently I am continuing the tradition! 🙂
Superb
🙏 Thank you so much @rikib9132! It takes much more time to develop then I ever would think of. But soon, soon I will be able to release these gloves to the public via @kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
My opinion is, that nothing is stupid if a rare bike is handled by best hands in running conditition. Mercy for this beautifull pictures and your story! What I love most is the difference between „I am the owner of a nancient bike!“ and „ I am driving such a bike“. What do you think about that? Is the the number of sampled bikes counting? Or is it better to have only some but in best technical driving contition? I am prefering the last choice. Bought and stored hard to exept for me.
Totally agree with you @ekart56
One of the nicest, best films I've seen recently.
Thank you @RobinBassett for the nice words!
What a lovely film, please keep up the good work Mackofmack! 🥰🏁🇬🇧
Thank you Mats for a chance to make this film!
You are so humble! 🥰
Brilliant!
Thank you Brian! 🫡
