Hey bro did you have issues with the throttle response until 1/3 of the twist of the throttle? Mines flashed by 2WDW and it still does it where it lags behind a little until a certain point then it kind of takes off.

After having as a goal to get me a brand new tracer9 black 2023 and after me working like a mad man I finally got it a month ago and I’m in love in a couple of days I’m getting my dna filter and full acrapovic exhaust can’t wait to hear that sound 🤤🤤🤤🫠🫠 stay safe brother !!!

Bought a used 2021 mt09 in Aug 2023 at a local dealer. Yamaha had issued a Stop Sale Order / recall due to this same issue. The ecu got a reflash, and the o2 sensor on the exhaust may corrode and cause the bike to stop running. It took 2-3 months for a final fix, I believe mostly o2 sensor related, either a new o2 sensor and harness and/or shielding or cover to protect the sensor.

Did you have to pay for any import charges buddy?

Excellent video showcasing this exhaust system. It's a bit too loud for me. I'm only looking for this particular exhaust system because it is already installed on a bike im looking to purchase. Of all the exhausts I've heard so far on the MT09 I like the sound of the Austin Racing Exhaust. It's a British company. Thanks again for your review. It let me know I'll probably be changing the exhaust system if I buy the bike.

What phone mount is that?

The new mt-09 is rubbish. And that's a fact. I have gotten rid of it and got myself a KTM duke 790 instead. Love the KTM.

Did your muffler come with like a screen cover it?

I like the garage door opener mount. Is that a piece of velcro or is it a specialized mount?

I’m wondering how much water you get on your back when you get on wet pavement? I’m reluctant to remove mine for the TST because I’m in Florida and soon we will be in rainy season and I’ll get caught eventually. Great overview on your mods, I want to do the front signals you have, best looking ones that actually match the look of the bike.

Did you unplug your 02 sensor from your exhaust? States on the website that you need to unplug the 02. I just got my flash back and reinstalled it but haven't ridden it because of this. I think I have to unplug it and get a plug for the hole

Hi, Have you been able to fix your problem since? Do you know what the cause is? Since my ECU flash, I have been having cold stalling and throttle jerks. Do you or anyone else have any info on this? My programmer says it's not the map. See TPS or throttle. I had done the ECU update before the ecu flash and I have no error code. Ps: sorry for my english i'm french/ Best regard, Stephane

Did changing the turn signals stop them from dropping? I have the 22 tracer gt and it stands out allot more since it's higher

Hi there, i got my bike recently, and it has same issue in your video. My vin number shows that my bike was assemble on January 2021. I bring it to my dealer and told them about the issue. They were surprise about the recall (my country is Vietnam) and asked some link for reference. In the end they are update the ECU for me said that it is the latest firmware but im not sure it is. They show me the picture before and after the ECU was update it is the same number. 202201_BAM3_01. Did the dealer show you the version of the firmware?

Love the new mt09 however I can’t stand the way the headlight looks on the bike. It looks like it’s too high up on the forks. If it were lower it wouldn’t be so bad. Hopefully there will be an option to put a motodemic round headlight in the future.

MY MT09 SP is coming a few weeks so I'm ordering parts here soon. 1) did you get dampening with the GP/ would you recommended getting it? 2) What mirrors did you get and if they are the CRG did you have to mod it so it fit correctly? 3) Where did you get your windscreen from?
