:(((( I'm nowhere near 600 points but I am obese (5'5 and 215 pounds!!) and I relate so much to the binge eating in this scene. I do it as a result of growing up in a dysfunctional and toxic family and not having enough love shown to me as a kid. I'm traumatized and have seen some very nasty things from an early age. So, in order to feel loved when others don't show me love, I eat. :((( I eat to feel nourished and to feel warm because I don't really have anyone else to get that from in my life. It sounds a bit cringe but if I need a hug, I'll just eat and eat and eat and eat. I know it's bad for me but it's hard to break the cycle. Thanks for reading. I'm on a healing journey and this movie helps a lot of people <3

I was taken to see Saving Private Ryan in theaters when I was twelve years old. I got through the bloodiest, most horrendously detailed combat carnage ever depicted in a movie, no problem. This scene disturbs the fuck out of me.

If you really think about it, if he died in that moment standing in front of his daughter...he would have fallen on top of her and crushed her. His daughter also dies in the end. Pretty hilarious.
