Part 2 of our big trip to Victoria for Picnic at Hanging Rock. This is just a snip of the show. We spent the whole day there and only saw 3/4 of what was on display. Revolution Motorsport put together an incredibly well run drift day at Pheasant Wood Raceway. We went up for a squiz. Besides the woeful conditions, it was a mad day. Real keen on taking the coupe to one in the future.

Josh, Tom, and Willsy take three standard Geminis and turn them into something. Each short story is recorded and sent Josh takes a relatively barn find TC Gemini, and thrash builds it on a week Tom takes a Gemini that was missing just about everything, including running gear. Willsy gets his Gemini back on all 4s with a cheeky snail update. All this to potentially make it to Halfwaynats.

We are on a realistic budget of hopes and dreams. Without Scott Willsy, the team at Cool Drive Raymond Terrace and Christiaan from Fenix we'd still be behind. They're not sponsoring us either just hooked us up on pricing. Most of my camera gear is bought by people leaving me their cans I recycle. Genuine grass roots build here.
That's because the guys from bucket have been doing it for 20yrs and the guys from mighty car mods have had geminis all of 5 minutes. MCM are a flash in the pan and the Bucket guys are O.G. Don't get it backwards.

I had my gem almost given to me ($200 and a case of subbies) as I was born in 75 as well there was instant chemistry, had to buy 2 more shitters for cheap to get it going and had it for 16 years, biggest regret of my life was selling it, hope you never have to part with this one, but if you do .....

As far as I know, yeah. It's a pushrod Isuzu motor. Similar to the Gemini one but different.

Loving the Toranas, especially the LH and LX. The design reminds me about our Opel Ascona A in Germany. But the Torana was a different car. Once when I was for 2 weeks in Perth then I was seeing the first Torana at the old Fremantle Motor Museum at the Freo port. The car made me so curious when I was back in Germany again. When I'd live in Australia I'd definately also checking out such car shows. Very cool cars. Thanks for sharing.
Great collection of Geminis! Here in Germany we had the Opel Kadett C but only the pre-facelifts looked quite similar to these. So the green one at 4:54 with the Opel badge is something you don't get to see here in Germany because our facelift wasn't looking this aerodynamic. We kept the old nose just put different headlights on and a different grill. But it's great to see that this GM T-car has so many fans around the world. Loving the rear end styling of your Geminis. We had different tail lights on our Opel Kadetts. Great show, thanks for sharing.
Yeah! I think it's a Japanese ZZ/R with different badging on it. Has a Isuzu twin cam in it. The early shape is definitely the cooler one. I'd love to get a Kadett GTE here and put one of those fancy opel engines that rev to the moon. Thanks for replying! Hope you enjoy our stupidity over here in Australia 😀
@@BucketIndustriesLoving the GTE especially in the old black-yellow of the pre-facelift and the yellow-white of the facelift. Never drove one, only saw them on some meetings. The old Kadett C, especially the coupe is still very popular on our classic car meets in Germany.
