Cockshut Restoration Project
The story of the Cockshut Restoration project, a partnership between Ouse & Adur Rivers Trust, Lewes District Council, the South Downs National Park and Lewes Railway Lands Wildlife Trust. Through collaborative working 700m of precious chalk stream has been restored and 6ha of wetland created in the Lewes Brooks SSSI.
