My insomnia journey: then, now, and what I've learned in between
As promised, see Sleep Coach School resources below. Their programs are great, but their free RUclips content is also great if you cannot afford to participate in a program. I love that they work to make the free material as accessible as they can.

Also, I realized I never explained why sleep restriction "worked" for me the first time I tried it but not the second time. Here are some Sleep Coach School videos about that!

great follow up video Jamie! I remember trying SRT when you were uploading those videos and they really helped however I also found out it stopped working. It took me many years after to realize and discover Daniel's NATTO approach. The real cure is not caring. I still have bad days but its so much better then what it was many years ago. Also please don't delete your older videos they're still nice to watch!

Sleeping too much played into my insomnia. My 3rd booster shot in December 2023 made it uncomfortable and hard to sleep for months and I thought making sure I get at least 8 hours would help. I gave myself a 10 hour sleep window for a month and it made my sleep worse when I returned to 8 hour window. That sleep drive was slowly fading and then I developed fractured sleep. It’s been months since then and I heard sleep restriction helps. Starting it and hope my sleep drive returns to normal.

Hi, I went through waking up 4-6 times a night to zero. The answer is , your blood sugar is fluctuating, you are becoming pre-diabetic. The solution is to go on a strict carnivore diet with only One Meal a Day and also remove salt from you diet. Get off the carb addiction and you won't wake up at night.
