This is how my garage now looks like after installing porcelain tiles. I carefully considered other options such as Epoxy and plastic tiles but at the end, I decided to go with Porcelain tiles because these will last forever, are easy to clean and maintain and I will never have to worry about either peeling and/or repainting my garage floor again. We have been considering the option of a tiled garage, but I am concerned they will break from the pressure and weight of the car. I am also averse to the grout as they are very hard to clean. I don't want to have to baby a garage.
I currently park two cars in my garage and not a single tile has ever even cracked. The grout is not an issue if the tiles are installed very tight to each other. I can send you recent photos.

Oh! I can't remember exactly. It was years ago but the best thing you can do is to simply go to the store to see how much are the tiles now. Add the cost of the mortar mix and then add the cost of the contractor. I must to have spent about $1500 dollars all together.

How does it ride on road?
It rides surprisingly very well, smooth and without that "wobbling" sensation. I guess this is because it is (properly done) from factory and not by a recommended mechanic at the corner if you know what I mean. This Jeep comes with 35s and lifted. (More than enough for me). The sweet spot if you ask me. So I strongly recommend this package. All under warranty as well.

You get a black one and a very nice grey one. Then, about a month later, you'll get the yellow one in that beautiful box.

Hey Texan! After a few years, my tiles still look like brand new. Not a single one has even cracked at all. So if you are planning to do the same, this is your best choice in my opinion. Yes, I'll be more than happy to email you some photos but I'll need an email address. Best regards, J.

Do you remember what the contractor did with the expansion gap(s)? Looks like he laid the tiles on top of the expansion gaps (assuming your concrete floor had them to begin with).
No it didn't. I was just painted concrete floors.
Only the second garage vid I’ve seen with tile floor on here. I was on the fence about Swiss Traxx vs tile but I can’t get over the fact Swiss traxx just traps the dirt beneath the tiles. What was the transition piece used at the garage entry way? That lip could be easily damaged
So I asked the contractor to leave the tiles about 2 inches shorter from the end of the garage floor and then had him create a mini "ramp" out of mortar mix. I then painted it in red and this has worked wonderfully. Tiles are extremely strong and easy to keep shiny and clean. In my opinion, this will last forever and it is the best option.
