We traveled up to the Snowy Mountains for a day at the Cooma Motorfest 2024. With so many great builds and stunning cars to admire, it was hard to take it all in. There was also a great mixture of trucks, machinery, vintage and muscle cars on display. Please enjoy our walk around as we try and show as much as we can. Thanks for watching.

PUBS AND TRACKS WEEKEND. We headed South over the border into East Gippsland of Victoria. We took a chance and went exploring around the Orbost area. We found a great mixture of tracks and some good fun powerline trails, although a bit wet in spots. Then a quick look along the coastline finished off our day. Afterwards it was into the town of Orbost, where we were booked in at the pub. Thank yo...
We go searching for an abandoned Railway Station.

High in the mountains sits an abandoned Railway Station, it was time to go and have a look. We set off crossing a number of different tracks, some used and some that hadn't seen a vehicle in years. We had a lot of fun carefully weaving our way through some amazing bush and crossing a few swampy sections as we slowly got closer and closer to out destination. Thanks for watching and please think ...

I have been waiting for the Kings 270 degree awning to come on special. When it did, I purchased one for $359.00. I thought this was a good price. I have made a short video of how I went about installing it on my Hunted Engineering canopy. Cant wait to get out and test it to see if it is worth the money. Thanks for watching.
The 3 Rivers Run

Overgrown tracks and steep slippery hills, our day drive had it all! We started off the day with a few tracks that are about to be reclaimed by the bush, bit sad as they are good fun. We also had a good amount of river and creek crossings in the first part of our day too. After lunch the tracks opened up but were a bit damp. This turned out to be a lot of fun resulting in some interesting drivi...

Tassie Tour - Bellingham to Bridport Beach Drive, Mt Stronach and Devonport

Is this Tasmania's best beach drive? It would have to be on the short list. This drive was so much fun. We had the whole place to ourselves and the views were stunning. We also visited a great lookout on our way home which had an interesting track up. This will be our last Tassie episode. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Tasmania and only scratched the surface. That just means we will have to ...

With our base camp set up in Mt Field we headed west. We picked up our permit and key before driving out to the infamous Sawback Track. This is a Conservation Area with a one way track which we were very much looking forward to. After lunch we visited a little dam in the area and admired many epic views along the way. Thanks for watching.

Tassie Tour - Henty Sand Dunes, Mt Huxley and More.

Before we moved South we spent our last couple of days around Strahan, Henty Sand Dunes and Mt Huxley. We had a lot of fun playing around in the sand and climbing the big dunes. We also had time to take in the stunning views from Mt Huxley, then a few hours exploring some of Queenstown's history. Wish we had more time here, but we had more amazing and exciting things down South waiting for us. ...

Top spot old mate. You did well. S.E. N.S.W. / Vic High Country is an amazing place.
Cheers, thank you. We are very lucky to have this in our backyard. still plenty more places to explore.
Looks good mate 👌

@@toofarsouthoffroad Could I please get a starting point?
@@lukepeterson4240 Hey luke, can you send us a private msg through facebook, 👍
Some great spots to explore.
Couldn't agree more, what an awesome place. Wish we had a lot more time to have a look around. We will be back i think 👍
Great adventure, some good tracks up in that area.
Your not wrong, Wish we had more time to look around. Only just scratched the surface 🤙
Wow that roast looked good.
We ended up eating a bit late that night but it was worth the wait,
I like the bit at the start, and Andy crab walking inn the mud.
The thick overgrown track was the best, the talking between 3 cars was priceless !
Hey, did you have any issues with the awning in the way of the RTT fly poles? I’m doing a similar build at the moment and was just wondering if that was an issue
Hi, all i did was remove the RTT fly pole insert from the channel on the side of the RTT and make a plate attached to the back of the awning and reattach the pole insert. This will lift it up a little and out of the way 🤙
👍👍
Same factory
I agree 🤙
lol cooll😊
Thanks mate, was good fun 🤙
Well, that's superior service.
Yes indeed ! nothing but the best.
Sway bar, not so superior?
Superior were really great to deal with, Replaced it under warranty, Best customer service and all fixed up in no time at all
Hi Jay, about to gut the interior on the 76 to do full sound proof including headlining, doors and floors. Interested to chat about the sound proofing on the 60 as will be a very similar process- thanks John
Hectic 😮
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Thanks for the video mate! I think I’ll buy the kings and just slap the bushman sticker on!
No worries, Its a shame that companies take advantage of people. I'm sure you will be happy with your choice.🤙
Fun weekend. Good food at the pub, comfy, warm bed. Would go again.
Will be back there for sure, great spot and great tracks !
Thanks for the vid, working on one and it was great seeing how you put the bones together
Thank you, It was a bit of fun working it all out. Good luck with your build 👍👍
Now I know who it was that dug up the exit from the creek.
It was like that when we got there, and we were just asking for directions,
Always interesting to see where you guys go!
Thanks @DailyGrindAus this drive was a lot of fun, some new tracks and a bit of luck, 🤙
mate, I have one on my 4wd and have had it for about 2 years now. It has never let me down, I have even had my 4wd slammed onto the side of it and it still works. I can't fault it for the price.
I agree with you, can't go wrong for the price and it does look like good quality. I have wanted to try one of the 270's for a while now. 👍
D’OH
Looks pretty epic!
We were looking forward to this one for a while, was a lot of fun.
Good stuff beautiful country + nice tracks & driving guys
It just got better as the day went on,👍
It would be nice if you told us where you were and what tracks you are on
We are on some of our local tracks right here on the Far South Coast, We used to give plenty of information out to promote and showcase our amazing area but sadly we started to receive negative feedback (and more) from certain groups. So sometimes we just have to let the pictures do the talking.
was that supas hut?
That was some good fun. Would've been better if mr google hadn't eaten all of my video footage.
Yeah sure, gotta have a back up, 😆
Coulda rebuilt that bridge with all the bushman skills you blokes have.
Funny you say that, we do have an apprentice bridge builder in the club. We were told it would take to long haha😂😂😂
That was a big tree indeed
There was another waterfall a little further down the stream at the dam. You should have stopped by the cataract gorge in Launceston.
I wish we had more time at the Mt Paris Dam, would loved to had a decent walk around the area more. Great spot. Cataract gorge is a stunning place, we went there on our last trip and caught the chair lift over,😀
Nice video. Good to see a bit of off-the-beaten-track scenery. Why has the dam got no water in it? keep up the good work.😃
From what i have read , after the mine closed the dam fell into disrepair and hole were cut in to the wall to let the water start flowing.👍
That water in the creek was clear before you got in?
Its still clear, rest easy !😁
First time in recorded history that mt wellington hasn't been covered in fog.
We got lucky with that one.😄
Camping isn't supposed to be easy. 🙂 great video. I'm starting my build this summer.
Good luck with your build 🤙
Dammit Janet!
Whats the Dam problem Janet ?
@@toofarsouthoffroad The water looks too cold.

@@toofarsouthoffroad thank you for doing that much appreciated
You should not go into a vessel like that there may not be enough oxygen look up confined spaces and the worst case scenario’s 😮
Hi peter, I did go for a walk around it before hand and could see there was a hole at the bottom, and when looking in from the front you could see the sun shine also coming in from the top, that's why there was so much light in there to film. But yes you should always be careful.👍
@@toofarsouthoffroad it is called a ball mill, it is used to pulverise the ore with cast iron balls to reduce the ore to a more manageable size
@@jamesloveridge520 Thanks James , i really enjoy looking at this old equipment , I wish there were some signs with information to explain things , cheers👍
How was murdering spur track? Has always sparked interest but never driven it
Hey Robbie, i saw a few video's and it was pretty bad, but lucky for us it hah just been graded. It was nice and wide , very dusty and very steep. but plenty of grip. Good fun🤙
Thanks il have to give it a crack next time
What is the ecu thing? The kit I looking at is just wires. No box.
I got the OEM harness kit from Toyota and thats what they gave me. I guess you could ask them what the difference is. Perhaps they have changed the design. I just follow the instructions and it worked. 12v things are not my strong point haha.
Great trip. What camera are you shooting on these days?
Hi Mark, It was heaps of fun ! I use an Osmo action camera and film in 2.7K at 60 FPS.👍
What an awesome build 😍🏕️ 👍🏽
Cheers, buddy, Bit rough and ready but perfect for where we take it,
Why ?!? Why hit that bog hole and especially with ZERO winch prep 🤦🏻
..and now i understand 🤣
Lots of lessons were learnt here.
Must have just missed you guys on this track as well 👍
Awesome fun day out
Meanwhile, those of us that only own 1 car each, and have a 2" lift took the falls track, and had a lovely day out
Not bad at all.
