I use Alcohol for Roots and Barks, because the benefit from the herb is better extracted with Alcohol, you can also use Glycerin, but i would infused the Cats Claw longer than 4-8 weeks to get the benefit of the material in a Glycerin infusion. So in other words as you said, a Tincture infused in Alcohol is indeed more powerful. Love & Light

When you use fresh herbs make sure they are completely covered in oil, the same with dry herbs. We are using dry/and or fresh herbs for our oils or tinctures. In the Wintertime you will not get fresh herbs. We had never ever an issue with moldy oil! Use a good Olive Oil! Love & Light

The easiest way to grow ginger, you can by ginger at the store, use a container, put in Coconut Coir Brick, place your Ginger and a layer of loose and well draining Ginger is ready to harvest when the leaves start to yellow and die, and the stems start to fall over. usually in about 10-12 month from sprouting. We infused the herbs in a 32 oz Mason Jars ( for smaller batches) fill it up to the top with the herb of your choice and top it with olive oil. Keep it in a dark place for about 6-8 weeks, shake it daily. Or you go by a general ratio 1part herbs 5 parts oil ( e.g.. 100 gram of herbs with 500 ml of oil) We hope this gives you some idea to start <3 Love & Light
