corfu . kairaba mythos palace
We jetted off to the lovely island of Corfu, this time opting for an all inclusive resort. We spent our time reading, sunbathing, swimming and exploiting the bottomless cocktail bar! It was very much a 'stay at the hotel' kind of holiday- we wanted to see if it our was thing and whilst we had a lovely time, we both agreed we prefer eating out and exploring!

I was lucky enough to visit New York again in February this year for a work trip. We spent the first few days exploring the city and enjoying being tourists in such an incredible place. Enjoy!

A few days spent in South Wales. We stayed in a cottage in the Brecon Beacons and managed to visit Barry Island, some of the beaches around the Gower, do the 4 waterfalls hike (it was a tough one!) and enjoy some castles (Dinefwr and Caerphilly) . After a whole summer of procrastinating, I have FINALLY finished my field trip Vlog. It was a university trip: we went to Washington, Oregon and Idaho, and has the BEST time. Please excuse the music if it gets repetitive, it was easier to just repeat the same clip again and again. My next vlog will HOPEFULLY be a bit more adventurous sound wise!

hey thinking of booking for october for ny solo holiday, how far is the nearest town like the one you went to ?
Hey! So this place is quite remote, which can be part of the beauty of it! There are a handful of taverna's along the beach that the hotel is on, but if you're thinking of more traditional touristy places to eat, bars, bit more choice, some shops etc, then this place is quite far from all of that. We typically prefer the latter on holiday, so we would not go somewhere quite so remote again! There is a boat and a coach that can take you to Corfu Old Town for about 30/40 Euro's- so that is probably your best bet. As a solo holiday, this hotel is very large and has lots of options all inclusive wise, so you'd be spoilt for choice, and there is an excursion office within the hotel to book activities, and also a separate one (that is a little cheaper) right next door to the hotel. The food varied! The usual all inclusive buffet stuff had some good days and bad days. The beach club was better as you could order off the menu and it was all freshly made, so we preferred that. Breakfast was 10/10, especially the omelettes made to order! That being said, my favourite meal of the entire trip was the one we ordered at a seafood restaurant on a day out! xx

We booked ours through the travel agent at the bottom of the hotel! If you head past the lower pool/pool bar area, you'll find the beach. 2 mins from the hotel is a travel agent which can help you with all kinds of excursions xx

We are going with Jet2 later this year. How were the transfers to and from the hotel?
In all honesty, for us they were appalling. Dumped on the side of a main road and left waiting in the blazing heat for 45 mins with no idea what was going on. We spoke to a rep at the hotel and they said it was just the way things were! Hopefully you will have an easier transfer xx

@@Luceee10 It was certainly a shock! I'd make sure you have some water with you. On the way back to the aiport we only waited around 5 mins, which I think is what is supposed to happen! Wishing you luck :D
