Glad you're going to check out Lipa, Batangas. Its elevation is actually much higher than Metro Manila or even Antipolo and with the current heat of the season, going around Lipa's huge outskirts, not only the city proper itself, would be a much welcome relief, more so from late afternoons, evenings 'til early mornings. It's actually more than a thousand feet above sea level. You have to stay there for maybe, at least, a week to fully experience that certain feel. You can also check out the schools there if it fits your criteria. De La Salle Lipa is one of the most prestigious in the country.
