I am so glad that you are able to enjoy it. I was hearing some of these Fumbling songs live for the first time as well. I don't know if I had ever heard her sing Wait live before, and it's my favorite from the album. I know my videos aren't great, but I love being able to go back and re-live that evening.

Agreed she is amazing! It’s Melissa McClelland. She is part of the band Whitehorse, which she shares with her husband, Luke Doucet (Sarah’s longtime guitarist, also on stage). If I recall correctly she opened for Sarah when she was touring in 2010. instagram.com/themightymm/

Beautiful voice, stunning songwriter and amazing instrumentalist. Being that close to her at the Bowl was exhilarating. I was nerding out at 1000% 😝

It was a sound check, which means they stopped, started and redid things as they dialed-in the sound, but as you can hear, Sarah's voice is as good as ever, and her band is at the top of their game. The quality of the musicianship demonstrated during soundcheck was commensurate with my experience at two different performance venues on this tour so far.

@AkashicGrrl that's awesome!! Ya, I see it's like 200 to see it, and I have the money, so I just wondered how it was. Ya, she's great. Seeing this is like a mini private show and watching a master at work. About how long was the soundcheck?

Yeah, I will never understand why people go to shows and talk through them. Though she was the opener and I've seen that more commonly.

It was a much cooler night on the 2nd, but I was 5th row, two seats from the end in a light summer dress and was sweating my balls off. Can’t even imagine this week with the 90s temps. Hope you were still able to enjoy your event!
