Thanks! I hope your wife succeeded in meeting her goals with the 50 miler! I was out there supporting some friends in both the 50 and 100 distances last weekend! Conditions were great.

@@trailrunningforlife Thanks, unfortunately she had to pull out. She had covid two weeks earlier and she came out with rashers and bruises on her legs. Looks as if it got the better of her this time. She loves an Ultra and it’s her first DNF.

@@LevTours64 Always next year then. That's bad luck, but a 1st DNF is a good thing, it can help soften the blow of any potential future ones in this case.

Totally agree. It can rain a lot, but no more in my opinion than when we were in England. I've enjoyed running through all the seasons and conditions!

Hey Tom, thank you so much for the kind words. I do try to find interesting and varied places to run trails wherever I live. I think I've been lucky enough to run in some of the best places across England and Wales now. Next up Scotland I guess!

I'll definitely be swinging by to watch. I love running trails along the coast (I did the North Coast 110 (Devon) not so long ago! Absolutely loved my time running along there, even though much of it was during the night.

You'll be pleased to know (if not already!) here in Pembrokeshire we have some excellent hills for fell running in the Preseli hills, which lead down onto the coast path too. Worth exploring sometime if you haven't already! Search "The Preseli Beast"

Mihai, I always appreciate you watching my content. Thank you. Yes, weather changing from sunshine to rain to hail multiple times over! I now always bring good gear and a survival bag. And coming down off those small mountains in the distance of that rocky coast shot, I went off trail, lost it, and ended up in thick knee high bracken and thorny vegetation. Lots of prickly bits in my shoes after that! Thankfully nothing any more serious though 😂
