Hello! My name is Lars and I enjoy making all kinds of cool and/or dumb things based on either my own imagination or ideas blatantly stolen from the nerdy things I like.
The content of this channel is half lessons in how, half cautionary tales of oh my god why, and half oh cool look at that. That's 150%!
Sculptor, moustache twirler, recovering VFX artist and stuff maker based in Norway.

I made a PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE but I think it's haunted
Kicking off Halloween spoopy season in style with a scary PSL that is all trick, no treat! Also teeth. Lots of teeth.
👉 Want to see more nerdy art videos? Here's a bunch of them! : • Making Stuff!
_________________________________________________________________
I mean I know it's already mid Spooktober but it's also dark out so I got very sleepy. I could actually go for a pumpkin spice latte right now! Jk I would never do that to an innocent coffee.
Let me know in the comments what kinds of projects you want to see next! And if you're a ghost, werewolf or vampire you legally have to tell me.

Here's a bunch of them! : ruclips.net/p/PLaiZSTY2UxU5sHKU6409ts0nDiW59pO7E&si=kdstL5JkfHDxLsVH In this video I put my sanity on the line as I build a ghost from the inside out and trap it forever in a block of resin. I made a realistic Spring Bonnie from FNAF Into The Pit! - Friday Night At Freddy's Diorama
Просмотров 5 тыс.8 месяцев назад
Is it Spring Bonnie? Is it Springtrap? Only the true Fazbear Lore Masters can tell. The concept art for FNAF : Into The Pit was too awesome and terrifying not to remake in meat space. After sculpting and filling this clay animatronic with wires and electronics I probably also accidentally cursed my apartment in the process. Totally worth it though. Materials : I am an Amazon affiliate so anythi...
Sculpting a realistic LETHAL COMPANY diorama | The Jester

Lethal Company is terrifying, but you know what is even more terrifying? Reality. So come along as I lovingly knead the two together to make this clay and tinfoil high definition photoreal sculpture diorama recreation of Lethal Company's scariest enemy and resident musician, The Jester ( aka Jack in the box ). Materials : I am an Amazon affiliate so anything you buy through these links help sup...

The dirty secret about Mario that your uncle at Nintendo doesn't want you to know, now immortalized in a Mario Kart clay diorama! Finally a turtle not too busy eating pizza or doing machines steps up to bring this predatory plumber to justice. Tell me in the comments what you think, as well as yell at me about what crimes I made to the art of model painting/sculpture/electronics/pasta during th...
I made a LORD OF THE RINGS resin diorama that Gollum would LOVE
Просмотров 492 тыс.Год назад
Shire? Baggins? As the first spawn of the new direction for this channel, I made a fully fledged Lord of the Rings epoxy resin diorama night light thing that while Bilbo, Sauron and the gang would find absolutely precious, almost killed me in the process. Ok not really but I did almost get a cut on my finger that one time. Did I mention that I have no idea what I'm doing? If you like this one a...
Zbrush Miniature Sculpting | The Chef Timelapse
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.2 года назад
Last year I started a collaboration with my friends at Mindwork Studio, creating a series of sculpted busts for their signature science fiction series "Diner At The End of The Galaxy". Luckily I screen-recorded almost every Zbrush sculpting session working on this character bust, so while we all wait eagerly for the next tutorial video to get done, please enjoy this timelapse recording of my ti...
How To Set Up Your Wacom Tablet For Zbrush Like An Absolute Sculpting Lord
Просмотров 28 тыс.3 года назад
Setting up your tablet the best way for sculpting in Zbrush will allow you to work faster and with less parts of the process pulling you out of your creative flow. This is the way I've been setting my stuff up for years now and it has honestly made a huge difference in how smooth my workflow working as a digital sculptor. Might be small differences, but if you can save a couple of seconds for e...
I loved the process , fun to watch and the Result is Awesome ❤️ keep it up 👌🏽👏🏽
You're so creative!!
Great video, the memes are a little annoying though
Your video's are very entertaining to watch. I love your sense of humor and your creativity. Gets me in the mood to clay around....
Thank you so much, that is awesome! :) After paying rent and making weird nerd stuff, my main goal for these videos is to hopefully make other people want to make their own weird nerd stuff so that makes me very happy to hear :)
Looks pretty fricking good. LoL
I fully thought this was North of the Border until I remember I subbed to you too lol.
Dude… de-molding spray is a thing
oh I know and even had a couple of cans here at the time in a cupboard about 50cm away from my desk. But I'm also an idiot so I didn't use it for reasons mysterious even to myself 😅
Glad I found your channel, it’s very pleasant :)
Thanks! 😊
I was feeling a bit sad today and this video made my day!! Hope it does as well as your other lotr video and gets your channel more attention! Subscribing right away 😎
The fact that my video brightened your day brightens mine! 😊 Thank you! (And yes I hope it suddenly does so too, that would be a nice and very unexpected surprise 😄)
Looks heavy.
Correct 😅
The Dead Marshes is one of my favorite parts of the movies, I love that you recreated it! You’re CRAZY skilled at sculpting and your editing is top tier 😂 amazing work!!
Thank you so much, you're too kind! 😊 And it is definitely one of my fave parts as well! :)
For the record, the hexagonal plates of a turtle shell are named scutes.
Thanks for the info! :) I’ll trust you 100% on this, you being a turtle and all
Honestly it looks fantastic without the light from behind.
Thats an great sculpt/diorama! Well done! Great sense of humor!
Thanks! 😊
It's an awesome sculpture. Well done.
Thanks, mate! :)
trash
the eyes came out crazy good omg
Thanks! 😊
Lars Lars Lars.. I wanted to binge watch your work but there seems to be a few of them. I've already subscribed to you(today i think), I'm turning on my notifications, and therefore I will be back in a year. I'll watch every project you'll create. Good luck.
pls never quit🙋🏻♀️
Haha thanks! 😄 I’m working on getting faster at pumping these out, so hopefully when you return in 2025 there will be a lot more for you to binge. Let me know when you return, I’ll be expecting you! 😄
@@LarsStrandenArt Will let you know and already cannot wait! :)
Hi, his name is Lars and he likes to make tiny LoTR things.
Accurate 😄
Reminder Frodos name was actually Maura Labingi
Today I learned! Or if I previously knew I had totally forgotten 😄 Kalimac and Razanur, love those little guys
You did that
Live this so much 🧡🧡🧡🧡🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 xxxxx
Since your "copying" Adam we can safely say you also like to make tiny nerdy things 😏🤣
10:17 the silicone was mocking you with that tear drop.
Totally! Didn’t know if I should laugh or just light my whole office on fire 😄
Dude, that eye painting technique is killer, so inspiring!
Thanks man, happy you liked it! :) Eyes definitely worked out better than I’d thought, my first attempts at doing new stuff usually do _not_ go that way 😄
You are like master Yoda, you teach us not only your success, but your mistakes as well 💗💗💗 That's why I love you! Natalie, Russia, Kaliningrad
Thank you I must. Grateful for kind words I am, yes 👽 (sorry I couldnt find any emoji that looked more like Yoda 😄)
Super Leistung und tolle Infos. Vorallem zeigst Du, dass auch einem Profi Fehler passieren können und das macht mir Mut, es endlich selbst mqal zu versuchen! Freue mich auf das nächste Video!!!😉😉
Danke schön! :) That makes me very happy to hear, that is definitely part of why I wanted to keep everything in the video, mistakes and all. I’m finding that the more mistakes I make the less they worry me, making starting new projects a lot easier. If you’re depending on everything going perfectly you’re going to have a bad time in my experience 😄 You should definitely start a project yourself! And if it ends up being a total failure, who cares? Just start another one! :)
Coming back to this video for the third time to say that that face sculpt is absolutely beautiful
would have been really cool if you used mirrors to make an infinite loop inside the mug
Ooh yeah that _would_ have been cool! :)
I kinda want a real mug like this.
I’d probably opt for drinking with a straw then, so you dont poke your eyes out on those teeth 😅
Love it. Great job.
I like how the monster is kind enough to stir the latte, so the spices are properly distributed before consumption 🙂 Great job on the eyes!
Thanks! :) Haha yes it is very polite, even if you're going to eat their face as they try to drink it, that is no excuse to forget your manners
Just incredible! You keep knocking your painting skill but I’ve seen improvement just in these few videos. Nice job! Love the pose of the player
Thanks mate, much appreciated! 🙂 Hard for me to notice much improvement myself being elbow deep in the projects, but if you can see it getting better then that makes me very happy to hear :)
Kankra/Shelob would be a great (and horribly difficult :P ) Project of next Halloween. Or Frodo, as a web-cocoon. Would you care to do something from Warhammer 40k or Fantasy?
Ah yeah that's a great idea, would be a lot of fun! :) I'll put it in my notes for next time! Definitely would love to do something warhammer related! I have a few halfbaked ideas knocking around so hopefully I'll get to do one in the not too far flung future :) Anything (race, setting, character etc) you'd like to see in that case?
ну и хуета 👎👎👎👎
I really don't wanna hate but north of the border really just copied this video. Even the music at the end is the same. The design is also very similar in idea. For me a bit disappointing but oh well.
The ring shouldn't have inscriptions on it because only fire reveals them.
Such a cool idea. Love how you did the irises. Stylus for phones or tablets work well to make nice dots on curved surfaces…the ones with the foam stuff.
Oh, that's a great tip! Didn't even cross my mind but that makes a lot of sense, I'll have to see if I can find some super cheapo ones and buy a few. Thanks! :)
It looks amazing! Great video, I really like that you also show your fails as a lot of people make it all look so easy without showing any mistakes they made on their way. Good for learning :) Thanks
Thank you! 😊 I like to joke that if I removed my mistakes my videos would be 2 minutes long, which is closer to the truth than I care to admit 😅
love the video!!
Suuuuuuper creepy. I loveses it.
Wow! This came out AMAZING! Also, loving your content. Keep up the great work!❤
Thank you so much, super happy to hear you enjoyed it! 😊 Big fan of the work you guys do as well so very much appreciated! <3
It's beautiful
Very underrated channel!! Love it!!
Thank you so much! 😊
I would love to buy one of this artwork
So sad the skull disappeared! Maybe do it with a more opaque material? This idea is amazing! Your result is also amazing.
Thanks! Yeah I also wish it worked better, but I'm sure there is a way out there! Maybe I'll revisit something similar down the road and see if I can improve on the skull aspect :)
Love it
This is so cool! I love it 😁
You are HILARIOUS, and extremely artistic! I'm now officially hooked!
Thank you so much! :)
A way to help you get the effect you want is not only try to used glow in the dark pigment or mica but also at each layer you added the epoxy in to paint those whisps and hair parts and such in to get that effect when you turn on a black light over top and perhaps on bottom too. Overall it looks kick ass. Would love to see you go even more detailed with it some day! @LarsStrandenArt
Thanks! Both great ideas, definitely see how painting it on each pour layer would work a lot better than how I did it, and _would_ have worked really well for getting the hair in there as well :) Going in my notes for sure!
