I was losing at pickleball until I learned this one tip... quit playing with 28 year old 5.0+ players 🤣🤣

You say moving to a semi-western grip might give you more control on your backhand. I would think the opposite is true, semi-western gives you better forehand spin, think QD, but makes it more difficult to counter at the feet on backhand unless you change your grip.

Great video except the middle confusion illustration was confusing. Diagonal player takes the middle ball or not?

The way the responsibility for the middle shots was described in the video was confusing to the point of uselessness. They said diagonal, but the visual highlighted the straight-on person. Also, the description of the pressure zone and dead zone kept confusing the issue by describing the pressure zone as "closer to the net", when it is actually further. Sigh.

I don’t understand the statement about who is responsible for the middle. It says “the person diagonal from the ball“ - I’m not sure what that means. Can someone explain that in a different way?

You know it’s interesting is that I have never met a “banger.” I just play people who are good and they hit the ball hard when necessary. From what I understand, every good player is a banger. 🤔

That third shot drop is so hard to hit. I can successfully drop it in the kitchen 20% of the time

There are no abolutes in Pickleball, these strategies can be used as a rule of thumb. You have to evaluate the situations as they occur. For example, if your return of serve is short or weak , running up to the kitchen is not always a good idea.

Pinching is shading to one side. If I pinch the middle, it means I move over to cover the middle shot. Targeting is where you pick on one player.

Way too many images that have no relation to what the narrator says. Same photos random passing again and again. More replays of the different services with slow motions would be more efficient. The few images that showed the serves were perfect. Put some more of these.

I suggest you get rid of the morbid background funeral music. Best is no music at all. This is becoming a bad norm for videos. Totally unnecessary and prevented me from getting past the halfway point.
