Hey, I always wondered what the function of that IRST radar in your plane is. Cause when I fire my IR guided missiles I don't lock onto my enemies with my IRST radar but directly locking my missile on to the target which is way faster and easier. I tried to find answers on that but their isn't a single video or document explaining the difference between locking on with your IRST and locking on directly with your missile. Can someone Explain please?
Locking with IRST gives you the literal traking of the enemy. Distance and alt. Locking with the ir missile gives you Just the lock for Itself
Also you Can slave ir missile to the IRST traking

Man I wish I still can't figure rockets
Lot of practice
1. Figure out the order the rockets go out. 2. If the rocket comes out from the left wing, aim slightly to the right and usually a bit higher (although that depends on the angle of attack) and vice versa. 3. Rockets(just like bombs) carry the momentum of a plane. The higher your speed, the less you need you adjust your aim and the more straight the rockets will fly. 4. Practice in custom battles.
Just aim with your brain not with the crosshair is my advice

Sight for the rocket goes other way around, bottom most line is for closest targets 250m iirc, the higher the line is the greater the distance. If you get close to your target while attacking from above, aim with bottom of your rocket sight with correct side depending on the firing order

You're reversing your turns and doing unnecessary maneuvers way too much which makes you bleed too much speed. J2M's aren't Zeroes, but you should still avoid fighting them at lower speeds because their engines and their flaps are far superior to yours. You should have just kept it simple and turned hard and slightly downwards to one side and then just pulled up over his nose once he got into gun range. You would've ended up right behind him because no plane other than a Zero or Ki-43 can follow such a maneuver without overshooting.
I got a kill from a 50km launch it's a pretty good missile

Issue is that you're getting the timing on a lot of your maneuvers slightly off. The main issue is probably that you're looking away from your opponent half the time, due to over-reliance on mouse-aim. Looks like someone needs to learn the keyboard/mouse/free look control combo. I have WASDQE for keyboard controls plus mouse aim, plus free look activation with right-click. Incidentally, the control setup only needs a few adjustments to work great in sim, too. I have a controller/mouse relative control/free look control combo for sim. I have the controller in my left hand and the mouse in the right. Mouse relative control gives me some extra aim control. The main issue is that getting the control setup right requires toying with the three separate y-axis inversion options in the controls (there's a pitch axis inversion option, a mouse y-axis inversion option, and a camera y-axis inversion option). I had to mess with all three options to get the controller pitch axis, mouse relative control y-axis, and free look y-axis to all be correct.

Nice video , I do have a question or if you can tell me any advise , I lose radar lock way to often and idk if I'm doing something wrong or the radar it's like that
I have the same issue. Since the new update it seems the pulse doppler lose target way too easy if the the enemy jet just do a little notch. Either you go low and go search mode or use the pulse doppler against frontal jets

Come potenza sono identici. Il c1 è meglio rispetto al pso perché è più leggero (non ha protezioni laterali aggiuntive e inutili) ed ha migliore corazza in torretta
