Can a 12x135mm bike hub convert to 10x135mm?

You mean a BIGGER bag will fit MORE into it??? WOW!!! Thanks for the advice!
How is it mate after 5 months?
I am still using it regularly both on and off the bike. There is no trouble with it at this point.
What’s the spring rated at?
It does not say. It is a very basic shock compared to the ones on expensive mountain bikes.
Bought this bag. Then i had buyer's remorse: maybe the bag wouldn't suit my needs. But this review convinced me to keep the bag.
Can I apply it to a 125cc motorcycle? With some modifications
I am not familiar with motorcycle axle specs but Burley makes 3 main types of axle hitches for this trailer; thru-axle which replaces the stock axle entirely, 5 mm skewer which goes through the hallow quick release axles, and nutted axle hitches that replace the stock 10mm and 3/8" axle nuts. If you have design and fabrication skills you could probably engineer a hitch but have to keep in mind the maximum width that the trailer yoke can spread out for rear wheel clearance. I have attached this trailer to a "fat bike" using the nutted axle adapters and it works well.
I have the larger ibera panniers, absolutely love them.
That " premium" topeak" looks 4th world compared to the Ibera.
I like the height adjustability of the Ibera rack.
keep it level not tilted. because your rear bag wont be level and will wear the front side to the clip holding the bag. always level.
I bought the "commuter" bag, rack and the large handlebar bag from previous bontrager and so far they are great, the zippers seem a bit tiny would be my only complaint.
Iwent from bontrager bags to ibera and absolutely love the ibera. Dont get me wrong, the rear bontrager was 8 years old, still usable but pretty beat up as for uv rotted. Im hoping the ibera plastic snaps hold up at least 5+ years .
o Only one word: Awesome. Best video on u tube. HI HAW....😂🤣
next stress test put a car on the trailer
Just got the Coho XC 3 weeks ago - have it connected to my bike via M10 nutted Ballz - I have a serious issue with it. The lockring of one of the balls came loose (it simply bended open) - which is a very dangerous situation. Made me decide to not use the Coho XC anymore. I addressed this to Burley and am waiting for an answer. As there are sideways forces with the trailer a lockring is the most idiot way of fixing the ball on the shaft. My Topeak trailer which I used to have had this somewhat similar way of keeping the trailer connected to te bike fastened with a stainless steel M8 bolt, that is te way Burley should do it too. I am now looking for someone who can weld a steel ball to the nutted shaft.
I have not yet tried the nutted Ballz. I have some bikes with M10 axles though. I have only used the Ballz Skewer for the hollow QR axles.
this video is so Helpful i wantend 135mm 9mmm to 135mm 12mm
This was so kind of you, thank you so much!
I cannot find info on what the actual dimensions of the panniers are. I'm all but sold on this bag but I need to know if my laptop is gonna fit before I seal the deal. Would it be a pain to ask if you could measure them? Also: That Cateye HL-EL220 was the best non-nickel-metal-hydride bike headlight ever made in my opinion. I have three of them and I'm sad they don't make them anymore.
I will measure and make a video of this. Some other people may want to know as well. I am guessing you will be padding the laptop with a special case or something. That is important. I would not place the laptop into the pannier bag loosely.
I have completed the new video upload which should help answer your question: ruclips.net/video/PEFw2aJTrZ0/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Cool, now I know to not transport myself in the Coho XC trailer.
The inverted rise bar setup shown here was actually popular in the 1800's and early 1900's on bikes made by the Wright brothers who later became famous for aircraft design and manufacturing. Though I have seen some riders set up their modern bikes that way, I don't prefer it.
Excellent ! I went out on my rad runner plus bike on the day in Rochester ny and made RUclips video "riding into total darkness solar eclipse April 2024" if u want to view it. I left 5 mins before it started to get dark. also I subscribed to your channel... thanks !!!
I bought rack and the bags, but ended up not buying the trailer...😅 You can use a thread insert rivet gun to tighten them up... I have the same ros bag...the sewing sucks on it will rip apart!!!
Yikes, that trailer can take a beating! I have this model, but I never put it through this type of abuse.
I have taken it off road quite a lot and overloaded it in other videos. I damaged the yoke when trying to pull 200 lbs. but then just bent the yoke back into place and still use it. I Have not replaced any parts.
Just checked the internet, being sold under various names from $16 (from Temu)-$130. Only difference appears the Topeka bag has been modified to clip on the Topeka rack.
Ibera is way better than topeak
Hell yeah...
Show me more. Much appreciated...

If you use acid to clean a chain it will break under even light load I found that out the hard way
Not true at all and this myth has been debunked many times and long ago and the videos are still here on youtube, the chemicals used in rust removers have zero impact on the crystalline structure of the metal it is used on and so has zero effect on the hardness / flexibility / strength of the metal, if it did there would be cars and other things crashing all over due to failed parts that had been de-rusted. Reality is if a chain broke after cleaning it was not because of the cleaning and it was because it always going to break as it had already worn to the point of failure.
@@EQINOX187 hey genius did you read the part where I said I found out the hard way? That means from experience genius! I had a perfectly good chain in regular use and used a acid wheel and tire cleaner on it for minor blemishes is was not severely rusted and soaked for less than a hour and when I used the chain it broke immediately so I repaired it and it broke again in a different spot immediately so very obviously it was severely compromised and I made no effort to try again it was so obvious! He had mentioned trying acid and why I left the comment as a courtesy and then you the expert come along to debunk real world experience!
@@chriscalderin6677 Saying words like genius and obviously repeatedly does not make you right or smart it just makes you looks stupid, I never said the chain never broke on you I merely stated that you are perpetuating a myth that has been proven wrong many times not only by science but also people on youtube and that a very very simple fact that a rust removing acid bath or chemical rust remover does not / will not and can not effect the structural strength of metal it simply is not strong enough, what can effect the strength however is being dumb and using the wrong type of acid or improperly diluted pure acid resulting in the actual metal being eaten away making it thinner and thinner and this can make things weaker however as I said rust removers do not eat the actual metal and they only attack rust and they are actually specifically designed not to damage the actual metal. You might not know it but acid bath removal is used all the time in many applications including car restoration where they will dip the whole car body frame an all into a big rust removal acid bath and that is far stronger than any off the shelf rust remover and they also leave it submerged for days at a time and it does not weaken the metal of the car in any way. So dipping your chain for 1 hour in off the self rust remover would have zero effect on the strength of the chain and if you had a clue about the ingredients in rust remover you would understand why it is not possible for it to damage the chain, and as i said your chain was simply crap and at the point of failure and yes chains that look good can still fail. You are free to believe what you want / perpetuate what ever myth you choose to but at least do some basic research .
I was wondering if the COHO trailer would accommodate a fat tire bike as I'm in the market for the Cyrusher Ranger electric. Great footage of the COHO best I've seen!
I found this post showing a fat bike with COHO: www.reddit.com/r/fatbike/comments/jyzovf/canyon_dude_wburley_coho_kicked_my_butt_on_the/ I don't know if Burley makes an axle hitch for the Ranger. They make a bunch of through axles and have an axle measuring diagram on their site so you would need the axle in hand to measure it up: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0581/1873/4020/files/2022_Coho_Thru_Axle_Fit_Guide_09b5edd6-cb96-4bbe-be84-90e47de00d31.pdf?v=1679351422
Good info, nicely demonstrated. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the detailed instructions. I'm replacing the rubber portion, and you've helped me tremendously. How did you set up the simultaneous camera footage at the end? Two cameras? Any details are appreciated.
Two GoPros were used, then the audio was synchronized in Adobe Premiere Pro. I count "1,2,3" into the camera microphones and match up the wave forms on the sequence in Premiere.
Id ride in it...🍻

Painful to watch... 😢 Do it already!
I heard the ribs of the toppeek break easily...
Cargo bikes are good for towing. They are more rigid and the back end will not sway so much. I use a bullitt with shimabo ep8 assistance
If you're going to carry that 90lb. load, you need to get it down lower, in that trailer, and the only way that, I see, to do that, is a longer trailer, with that single-wheel set-up. Ballast is key to hauling stuff by bike, with or without the trailer.
Very common on ladies city/trekking bikes to have a smaller wheel in the front.
Not for me, 26 on the front and u would of made that incline, the angle looks wrong and the whole thing looks out of proportion, but hey if you like it, go for it.
Hello, I want to buy this trailer and my fat ebike has the motor in the rear tire and I can't find a way to use the trailer since the nut does not fit because of the motor cable, will you know a solution, thank you and regards
I don't know of any adapters on the market to solve this problem. It seems you would have to hire a professional engineer/machinist to create a solution for this. Although that would probably cost more than an actively marketed/mass produced product.
I dunno, I cut some marine carpet to fit and put two chihuahuas in the trailer and they loved it.
I bought a similar Topeka bag without the water bottle holder. The quality was excellent and I used it daily for commuting to carry my work clothes and laptop. Maybe, loaded it with 10-15 pounds. I doubt if the bag holds up with 40 pounds of weight off road. I've used it for a 3-day non supported trail ride and it was perfect for that trip. The center compartment on my bag did not have an extension component. I'm planning on another 3-day trip, so I might get this bag just for the extra space. I wish the bag was waterproof, but I use a trash bag to protect my stuff inside the panniers, because the optional water cover is ugly. Great review.
I have a trailer with one wheel. It’s really unstable and bounces back-and-forth and throws you off by the bike. I had to get one with two wheel trailer. It works much better. If those weights shift to one side you’re screwed.
