No
No, Page was known to use alternate guitar tunings…this and also rain song. Stairway to heaven gets much of the guitar glory but I would argue both of the prior mentioned pieces are more rich and complex. Cheers

Totally. As great as LZ is/was (my and I’m sure many on this comment thread’s #1 all time fave), no one in the band ever played the acoustic and sang it at the same time. Guys like wateretc who come on RUclips and hammer out a virtually flawless rendition are true musicians. No backing tracks no band members no other instruments. I listened to this song a million times before I was even 30 years old (62 now) and very time marveled at its beauty and appeal. I’ve played guitar for 40 years and am fairly good, but this rendition of this song by “Nick Drake wateretc” is unmatched anywhere I ever seen - on RUclips or elsewhere. Kudos dude - keep rollin I’m sure you’ve got some income already from your craft.

Hey, there's an irish song called Óró, sé do bheatha abhaile ("Oh-ho, you are welcome home!"), which has a similar tune but for its content is far more moving - at least, the version by Pádraig Pearse (Irish poet and nationalist martyr) is such a nice bit of poetry. It was sung by volunteers during the Easter Rising and also as a march during the War of Independence. A bottle of milk filled with water can make a half decent substitute as a bodhrán for that song :)
