I love the Lucksmiths so much. I wish I owned more. At least I own the 10" with the Amelia Earheart song. That's a lovely teenage keepsake. I'm very grateful for my little collection of 90s indie pop goodies.

I saw this band live in Alice Springs in 1992. I only remembered the name today!! I bought their CD on the day.

I've lived near bayswater for years. I totally forgot that the train sidings weren't there at that time. I thought they were always there. And that the workshops were only installed in the early 2000s

I used to regularly cut through that land on Winyard Drive on my way to mum's shop on Brice Avenue or hang out down the street.

I remberner the original Blackburn station 1970's. Yard on the left side with GY trucks and an E class shunting. Briquettes and mallee roots. The cutting beside BoxHill Cemetery GY wagons derailed with Y class hauling them about 1980? Oh and working across from the original above ground station signal box and old gates over Station Street. There was a wheel in the signal box to oen and closed the gates.

I also remember there were some Xaverian graduates involved in its construction who died when it collapsed.

I remember in 1969 or 1970 when the Westgate Bridge collapsed that I was at Xavier College. We could see from the back of the Chapel all the way to where the collapse had occurred in the Footscray Williamstown area. I remember it well.

I worked in the city for a year in 1971 as a young girl and would get off at Ringwood. I barely remember it, but I do remember my pay, working in an office for $30 a week. $4 board, $8 for weekly train ticket, $10 in the bank and the remaining $8 for clothing and lunches.😃

You can still see Andre and Kit Warhurst (yes Myf's brothers) in Spoonful at Melbourne pubs. They seem to send messages of gigs every month. They are still doing great things.

Seeing you guys at The Club in Smith Street ... it was always after we'd done something else - been to another gig, a party, it didn't matter. Whatever it was, we'd always end the night at The Club, in front of you guys. Week in, week out. I was never in great shape by that time of the morning and you guys were always 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙. You sound exactly as I remember too. I'm really happy to have found this.

Dear Tres, I don't know about a tricky conversion. I do know I have kept a MacMini away from the internet for many years, so the iMovie does not get upgraded. For younger viewers this wasn't filmed walking around with a phone, but with a clunky tape recorder which to view on RUclips years later needed a tricky conversion. Thanks for posting.
