It is a cute little deck, very romantic and playful. The more the colours outside vanishing and the world turns gray, the more I am craving for some Spring/Summer colours on the reading table. I am also very tempted to get the Playful Heart Tarot by KittenChops. Maybe as a Christmas present. Thank you, Kara!😘

We don't have that many Tarot decks designed by German artists, I fear. I do love the "Mystisches Tarot" by Catrin Welz Stein, also her oracle deck "Mystische Momente". Both are also available in English. Cherished decks are the Dondorf Lenormand decks, Blaue Eule Lenormand by Königsfurt, Kipper cards and Sybilla cards. They have a tradition here, Tarot not so much. Sadly.

@@piquedametarot thank you for answering! I recently learned that Lenormand is based on the Germanic cartomancy system and I thought it was so interesting!! I’m going to google the ones you mentioned. (I own both of Catrin Weltz Stein’s decks and love them ❤️ Here in Mexico we don’t have a cartomancy tradition at all historically, so it’s really interesting to me countries who do.

@@marianamasbooks Lenormand-Decks became a huge bestseller at the end of the 19.th in Germany. It is still very popluar here, along with Tarot. Also New Age type oracles are widely used. Interesting to hear there weren't a big tradition in Mexico.

Hi Geoff, I am a fan of his work too! Does it unlock the unconscious? More or less like any kind of art is able to, I guess. As for the practical use: Most of the time I pair it with an Tarot deck, especially the Serpentfire. I look for repeating patterns..are there connection points? Are the human figurs on the card upright or in reverse? What could this hinting at? And so on. I don't own the book, so I completely rely on my intuition...this makes it fresh and playful. Thank you very much for giving this video a try and your lovely words, dear Kara! I was fully aware, that the deck and the presentation here is maybe to (kind of) avantgarde. I follow Daniel Martin Diaz since his release of the "Earth Magic Tarot" and just adore his art. Yes, it is a puzzle of different strands like Catholizism, Propaganda art of the 50s and so much more. For the table decoration, well...my husband works as an engineer. I plundered his workroom 🤣 Thank you again, Kara! It is good to know there are people, who don't shy away from atypical Tarot and oracle art.

Hi Nisha, thank you so much for your kind words!☺️ It was the aesthetics to, which attracted me to the Thoth. Especially the courds cards. I am find them so expressive and I love th fact it has Princesses instead of Pages. No, there is definitely no "wrong" way. Maybe it was a blessing that in the years I've started to read the Tarot there were only few decks and books to choose from. At least in my country.
