Your story and words will save many others. The most valuable important of legacies.
Wasn't him & his teammates doin yay back in the day also
10 minutes in and Carey couldn’t get a word in. ✌️
Keep on the straight and narrow! Thanks for the support.
Another great one. I’m playing catch up.

Joe is an absolute hero of mine. I remember reading in his fitness book 'Evolution' about some of the hockey goons he used to spar with at the boxing gym. Awesome to finally put a name and face to that story hahaha 🤘🏼💪🏼
Yes sir, I would be that guy. Agreed, Joe’s an awesome human! Thx 4 watching
Can’t believe I almost missed this interview!!! Huge fan of Joe and bubbles!
👊
Thanks Brantt and Carey. I wish I'd met you Carey, so you could still be playing here in Montreal.
Great show you both !!! Proud of you both for sharing this difficult part of your lives with us all...Just know you both got this and your helping so many more to seek help !!! Prayer's to you both and thanx !!!
Thanks for the positive message! Just trying to spread the good word
Way to go Carey!! over 2 years sober, that's awesome!! huge kudos and respect.
Good stuff Brantt. I didnt know about your channel until now but I heard you on with knuckles and it was great!
Playing for the habs Literally ruined this guy's career. Toxic shitter fans.
Thanks to you both for sharing your experiences with addiction. I've been clean and sober 13 years and feel great. I really miss Price in Montreal 😢.
Enjoyed the sit down. When I heard Carey went into rehab, they(the media and the Canadiens organization) told us it was because he got addicted to pain medication, not alcohol. I guess someone thought that addiction to pain medication would be more acceptable by the public than alcohol. They probably were right but they’re still a bunch of liars. Just glad both of you are doing well. However, the answer is Jesus Christ and a King James Bible, rightly divided(2 Tim 2:15). Check out Hope Bible Church Ga, David O’Steen for excellent Bible teaching.
Powerful stuff, guys. Thanks so much for this.
Thanks for watching Ryan! Appreciate it 👊
Very proud of anyone who gets help and climbs out of the fog. Everyday ppl to professional ppl. My father and others of his family over the years did not make the choice to get help. Keep er going brant and carey. As a tendy I've followed your pro career from the beginning. Like many others we are proud of you. Thnx brant and carey. Ghg! ❤
🙏
Lost my mom in 2021 and it still hurts.
I feel ya… never easy- to say the least
@@Gfy7365 so sorry to hear that 💔
Brilliant!!! Merci! Great Class Gentlemen! Deus Vos Benedicat.
Thank you! 🙏
Great stories. Addiction dont discriminate. 12 years in recovery, friend of Bill. Life gets better. Hardest decision is to ask for help. Intergenerational trauma runs thru my blood. It was either heal or die. Surrounding myself with like minded people is something I must continue to do. One day at at time. Now currently in a role to help my FN in leadership role. Creator's plan for me. I will say this, only an alcoholic/addict understands an alcoholic/addict. We been to hell and back. Great episode with two Sober Warriors.
Forgot to say congrats on 12 years! Awesome stuff
Great episode guys! It takes a lot of courage to speak about it that openly. Carey Price was always a rolemodel for me during my childhood and will always be!
Thanks Jake!
Loved this episode. Watched Carey's career from the World Juniors up till the Stanley Cup Finals. Will always be a fan of him, Montreal and Habs Nation miss him dearly. So happy to see him doing well. Nothing but love & Respect for Carey. And to Brantt, thanks for sharing your story as well. God bless! 💙🤍❤

Thanks Julian!
Great podcast! Awesome work! Big respect for you! Greetings from Finland!
Thank you for watching! Heard nothing but amazing things about Finland!
Awesome work brother. I start my 20th year as a Police Officer in NY. I've seen lots of guys go to the farm over and over again and never come back. I read your book and to see how low you were with your demons and come roaring back and helping others. One day at a time!! P.S. Parts of that book though, i wanted to reach thru the pages and shake you by the shoulders and yell "STOP!!, YOU'RE RUINING ANOTHER CHANCE!!!" That's a testament to a compelling story and your ability to humanize yourself and make strangers feel something along with you thru your words.
Hey Mike, ya man, I was screaming at myself not do certain things as well. Wild I'm able to talk about it vs rotting 6 feet under ground. Thanks for watching! Appreciate it
Fantastic 1st episode! See you in a week! 🙏💪
Thanks buddy! Appreciate you watching
Loved watching you in the 90’s especially on the Sharks. Still remember you dropping Rocky Thompson with those rapid lefts!

Congrats on podcast #1. I enjoyed your candor, and I have such respect for you and all those who are living their lives one hour, 1 day at a time. You are building your journey, your sober way, which is filled with all the blessings you deserve! Stay safe and enjoy today!
Thank you, appreciate you kind words
God bless Brantt for turning his life around and helping others. He had a tough job in the NHL and I loved watching him play.
Thanks pal! Appreciate the kind words 👊
Loved his energy when he was on the flyers. Hell of a fighter. Great to see him doing so well.
It is a great to hear that Myhres everything is going well and good today and you look much more lifefull and better than back in your playing days (like during that Philly stint), when you had a problems with alcoholl. I remember Brantt back in his early days in Tampa '94-95, and collecting your cards (still have them, and I'm 45 yrs old, born -77 myself). I've had been going throught those same problems like you have had (alcohol, drugs like amfetamin and last the opioids, so I know what you mean, and that is a life long battle too to myself, but everything feels and looks much more better without them! Back then I'm just only escaping the reality, all problems and trying to made this life littlebit softer on booz and pills, but that was a Illusion, you have to accept your problems and face the reality because otherwise the substances will take you to the grave). A huge respect to you and I wish you all strenght and all the best in the future! Take care yourself!! 👍🙏 ♥️💪 - Tommy K. from Finland 🇫🇮
I just found out about this book and ordered it immediately, can't wait to read it! Loved Grimson's and Probert's books.
Nice man- hope you enjoy it!
Bro. I'm so glad to find out you got well. You were a hell of a player, and your a hell of a man- you really deserve the best.
The line about trying coke for the first time is something I keep hearing as I navigate my own recovery. I also remember hearing your interview on spittin chiclets and thinking, “what is that like to be sober? How is that possible?!” Tomorrow will be 60 days clean for me. I just bought you book today. Can’t wait to read it. Keep up the good work!
Right on Caley! Keep the faith, and I hope you enjoy the book! Brantt
