Hospital trips, flares and getting ready for Delilah 🌸🦓
Просмотров 605 лет назад
After a crazy few days moving furniture round in preparation for Delilah arriving, I was called in to the hospital for an emergency check as I’d been having some worrisome symptoms. Turns out what we thought may have been early labour, was one of the biggest EDS flares I’d had in a while. With the midwifes not being educated about EDS as it’s not a very common condition it was up to us to tell ...

Throw in to that, something like chronic illness, mental, physical or both it can make things even harder. So I just wanted to have a chat about the other things that can happen and that have happened to me during my preg...

Using and removing joint tape 🌸🦓 BEST LIFE HACK !!!
Просмотров 355 лет назад
Having a condition such as hEDS, can cause a multitude of other side effects. One of which can be incredibly sensitive skin. Having suffered with sensitive skin for pretty much my whole life, I made it my mission to find away to remove the nasty sticky residue left behind by many, if not all of the medical tapes used to hold and support a sublaxed\dislocated joint. Although these tape are incre...
Who are you to decide if someone is disabled 🤷♀️

Never knowing what you are going to wake up like is a fun thing, I think this is one side to my illness I will never get used to. No matter how good I feel when I go to bed I can wake up feeling like I’ve become a sleep walking MMA fighter. I’m convinced one day I’m going to see myself on a poster asleep challenging Connor McGregor to a world champion smack down, because it’s the only way I can...

Yesterday a nail technician accidentally dislocated my finger in front of a room full of people and I have not taken it well. I have been a bit of a mess since yesterday so I wanted to openly talk about felling low and upset and that it okay to not be okay 👌😌

Thank you for making this video and sharing your tips with the world, it helped me :) have a nice day !
Aww I’m glad to hear that !! Hope you are well xx
Hehehe there i am lol xx

Came over from Abby Cox. Have health issues myself and love the idea of this. Especially keeping it under 15 minutes and casual. Yes the slick videos are enjoyable but for people with health issues they don’t really pass on a sense of anyone could do it. And when you’re differently abled accessibility is way more important. I’m always pining over the kiddies clothes (used to make my own when I was well) so looking forward to seeing more of your outfits. I also enjoyed your explanation of the inspiration behind what you wore. Hope you’ll be up to putting up more content soon after the chaos of moving but personally I’ll find good self care way more inspiring than frequent content upload ;-)
Thank you you’re comment it has really Picked me up !! I’m so sorry to hear you have your own health issues, it really is so difficult to keep going especially where hobbies are concerned it can be hard to keep going but we have moved now and we LOVE our new home, even if the move was madness 😂 we are all settled and I have just ordered a new iPad for editing so I’m currently filming new stuff and I will be up loading in the next few weeks !! 🤩🥰 I hope to see you there and please feel free to comment to and pass along so we can build a positive community for people with disabilities to keep crafting xxx all our love the Langtons xx
I have had TMJ since my early teens. It's awful. Actually, I recall chewing gum on a band trip in 7th grade & being unable to talk or eat, after. My Mom thought chewing gum was vulgar, so I didn't have it on hand. Also, my daughter of the heart has EDS & a bunch of other congenital issues. Get better for awhile, anyway. These just don't go away & I'm so very sorry. As for arthritis, I developed it at 16 & it is the pits. I also have Fibromalgia. Other stuff, too. As you know, the buggers gang up on one! I have spinal stenosis in neck & low back. I am on morphine & ice packs, alternating w heat. I've had shots in the triennial area, but it is risky & could cause facial paralysis. I sign away all my rights before a Dr will do it. I have auto immune cirrhosis w splenomegaly + kidney disease from taking anti-inflammatories. So, I'm trying my best to NOT use NSAIDS, anymore. Horrible for kidneys & Tylenol is horrible for liver! I am looking for something that really work. I have one, but need to add black pepper. I wish you all the very best.
Oh I’m so sorry to hear this.you are dead right though they really do tend to gang up, I have been diagnosed with different things over the years and you just have to find a way but it really can feel like you are swimming in mud sometimes. I wish you the best and please feel free to come here and comment when ever you like and pass my channel along. I really want to build a community here we’re people can talk about their illnesses and find different ways to combat our illness together xx
Good to see you back 🌼 I love your idea(s). A few suggestions for when you've worked through your own: hair wraps! With maybe some unique charms and stuff and salt dough models (to paint aswell) because it's a cheap activity and most people have flour and salt in their cupboards it's just not often that you can make them look how you intend 🙈
Cryin 😭
Omg comments !!!! AHHHHH IM SO EXITED 😍❤️🥰
Can we just stick you back together with green stuff, paper clips and super glue? X
Ash Walsh, I feel really sad I know “green stuff” is a Warhammer thing 😂😂
