Awesome @Captain_Yodelstein, You will love either one. If your wind conditions are light or bumpy, The XX handles those conditions better, especially light wind conditions, and learning is faster and easier with the XX. The best thing about the EXP is the durability. Let me know how it goes!

Yes @chrisproctor3779, Teams are very careful to design patterns to minimize twisting. In large teams, one complete wrap is pushing the limits of binding due to friction. Most line crossings are 1/2 a wrap or less to avoid a catastrophe!

@@jhadzicki thanks for noticing my comment. Would love to see a video explaining its actual specific design and function. Maybe that’s just because I’m an aerodynamicist though. I have an old 1.5 and a power blast 2-4 is on my bucket list.

agreed! The loading at hte bottom is awkward.. however, it is better for weight distribution. Although the velcro closing is nice. When the top flap only folds over it can unfold easily and stuff can fall out... so I'd rather not have the lines at the top in this situation as carrying the kite would then lead to stuff falling out. but having a velcro flap makes a huge difference.

@@rabbitracinguk Yes I agree! The velcro locks the lines in, and the flap pretty much eliminates any chance of disturbing the complete package. I know keeping everything attached is not the right solution for everybody, but the convenience and elimination of most tangles and twists is an amazing option, especially for new Rev pilots!

Sorry @riannewesten, Although this seems possible, we have not received notice until now. I have never had this problem in 5+ years. Possibly you are wrapping the sail too tightly?Please fly and enjoy your Rev, and when the sail is worn out, we will replace at material cost.Perhaps keep your (spring) shafts outside and roll the kite separately?Let me know your thoughts.

Yes Eddie! Finally someone asks the right questions! I am constantly improving the Revolution design to make the impossible, possible. There are a couple key elements that make these conditions possible: The Reflex XX is slightly larger than the 1.5 size (33 inch shafts vs. 31 inch shafts). This allows you to fly in lighter conditions, down to zero mph: ruclips.net/video/iENuCKLT84o/видео.html. Secondly, The Reflex design allows the Rev to 'Float' or glide, which makes light-wind conditions much more relaxing, and allows you to regain ground much easier. Short lines also make small spaces much easier. TNX for your feedback Joe! I think I should go for the Rev. Reflex XX. I would like to experience the difference between a 1.5 and a Reflex😀 Here in Maaseik (Belgium) the average wind speed is 0-3 at most 4 Bft. In our climate 3 to 4 Bft. is very often accompanied by bad weather, rain and cold🤷‍♂️. Strong wind and sunny weather are exceptions. Have you ever visited Belgium tot demonstrate your kites?

I travel with 30 foot and 65 foot lines (10 and 20 meter sets). This small space required short lines, so I used 10 meter lines. While I travel, and in general, I most often use 10 meters. They are so much more convenient: ruclips.net/video/5m6XKD3T9FU/видео.html
