Chris Wolstenholme famously said he can’t stand playing this because it’s bloody hard work. It’s known as _The Finger Crippler_ for good reason. And Marie makes it look easy. That’s years of practice for you. 🖤
I think that's also why a lot of covers are done with a pick/plectrum. If a person is going to use a pick then Marie is one of the better examples of how to make it sound good while doing so.

Great video, but you playing everything a string too high, you played the verse on the d and g string instead of e and a. This wasnt just for the verse aswell. You did this for the whole song.
That is the way it's played in the record and it is actually the correct way.
I was wondering how not to end with tendinitis when playing this song, you have the answer, just the pick
