I do find it better especially if there are pages that aren't full sized. I had an issue with a small page only being stitched in the middle of a 3-hole binding and it just kinda flopped around. lol I try to use the 5-hole on any binding larger than 5 inches. I hope that helps.

I tried fabri-tac and it worked some, but I ended up using double sided tape when I found places it didn't adhere all the way.
