JF has been a major influence on my playing ever since the BSSM album. His playing can just get so sloppy and SOOOO SOULFUL, and he plays his stuff with as little effort as possible, truly unique. I can totally hear the Hendrix influence in his playing, yet he doesn't copy anyone. After his dark past, and how he was able to make it out the other end is truly divine intervention. He is meant to be here teaching us.
