Grinding! Keep it up man
keep going man 🙏🏾
That steak bowl looked delicious and anabolic
Looking forward to more videos. Keep them coming. Keep grinding. Stay hard!
Agree with all your earnest efforts except for war my dude. Looking great. Nice story and congrats! 🥳👏
200 m run was my favorite. How does descending repeats work? I miss my doggo.
Descending repeats means each repeat is faster than the last! It takes some practice to get it right
5 stars! This is such a good watch. I'm currently trying to find balance hybrid training. Time caught up to me. I was born with radioulnar synostosis and have a leg length discrepancy. My body was feeling twisted. All the stretching and popping was not helping anymore. I've been strength training for 7 months now and inline skating about 100 mi a week. It has done wonders. My hips are happier, my right shoulder area is getting there, but still a lot of work ahead. I'm super lean now, learning about nutrition, counting calories, and watching videos like these. Thanks for your time. Looking forward to the next podcast video. ✌️
Thanks for sharing. Good watch. You communicated well. 👍
I've been on Carnivore for 10 months. Zero Carbs and I lost alot of body fat and got ripped working out 3 days a week.
same
I would say it depends on what you’re trying to achieve. If your A1c is under 5.4 and your insulin and glucose levels look good eat whatever you want. But if you if not probably need to cut the carbs to get your glucose and insulin sensitivity in check. Doesn’t make much sense to stay on the road to diabetes just to knock a few minutes of your next 5k time.
🧢
There’s a lot of nuance to this conversation. Very very happy it’s worked for you but rather than an “either or” discussion I find the most value comes from talking about the nuance in between. Why did it work for you? Is that mechanism possible via another means? How can we achieve optimal health with and without carnivore? Etc
Curious to hear your thoughts on the podcast as a whole as someone who has had success with carnivore?
you job you f*cking beast, God loves you big guy
Start him young so cute
“Why do people lose weight when they don’t eat carbs” is like asking “why do people lose weight when they don’t eat”
Dude just work out. The last thing we need is another weirdo posting stuff like this. The quiet professional mentality is gone 🤡
No squats?
I definitely like a mix if both!
The most important part about distance running is run efficiency, aerobic capacity is relative to that
Whay was your weight?
205lbs 💪
Nice
Journeling his huge in mental health. The best time in my life is when I journaled every day. Thanks for reminding me about this. I will start again today
GlAD YOUR BACK!!! LET'S goooo
I appreciate the support!! 🤝
not eating carbs is hands down the best way to get shredded
Eating less than you burn and eating 1g of protein per pound of body weight is the best way to get shredded
On top of strength training
Bro forgot how to struggle
you made it look effortless! Congrats on the PR
Thank you!
🎉
crazy how many people stare at the fucking floor during deads and squats
Yeehhhh!!!!
You cannot overcome eds come on now it’s a genetic disease it makes me mad that people assume you can overcome genetic diseases
Overcoming meaning not letting it hold you back and adapting to make the most of your circumstances.
Front squats hurt my arms because of how the bar sits on my biceps.
Interesting! Have you tried any grip variations? The bar should be sitting on your shoulder more than your bicep.
@@justinjonesfitness I have a hard time with my wrists. I don't seem to have the flexibility to hold it like you are in the video. I've tried the cross armed way but that hurts so I stick with back squats.
@@Rahdmi Back squats are great too! I used to have wrist mobility issues on front squats as well and using wrist wraps helped me a ton.
Bro, should have spotter. I hate doing squats by myself. Just in case. However keep at it man!! Get those gains brother!
Luckily I haven’t had to bail yet but they’re bumper plates so I can always roll them off the back. Definitely might be getting a gym membership again soon
Beautiful man Justin Jones ♥️♥️
What is this song? Great video, by the way.
It's from the movie "Good Will Hunting". Totally awesome movie
@justinjonesfitness I know it's from good will, I'm asking what's the name of the music is in your video
Honestly a good one. People get caught up in fear and avoid doing the things that make them uncomfortable. But thats the only time you grow. Hope you have kick ass day.
Who said you couldn’t. Never heard anyone say this 😂😂😂
I actually used to get a lot of comments on this. I don't much anymore but I do occasionally get messages about it still
Bro, cardio and lifting is one of the best ways to lose fat easily and gain muscle
It is!
Have you ever been told you can’t lift and still progress in an endurance sport? Maybe you want to run a 10k or half marathon, but you also want to keep hitting PR’s in the gym? I’m here to tell you that it’s possible. Not only have I done it, but I have coached many other athletes to do the same thing. Using a hybrid training model we progress your strength and endurance goals concurrently. Book a FREE no-risk, no-obligation call and I’ll walk you through exactly how you can do the same. This is perfect for you if: * You want to get in shape without thinking about fat loss * You want to achieve a performance goal like decreasing your 5k time while hitting PRs in the gym * And you’re tired of not seeing progress with what you’re currently doing By the end of the call you’ll walk away with a clear performance plan to get to your hybrid goals. Are you ready? Comment “HYBRID” to learn more.
Do concrete for a year.. let me know if your still doing all this after 😂
Nobody said you couldn’t you dork. Stop trying to sell because its not working. No one can relate because nones been told they cant do both of those sports….
Come to me for free and ill teach you how to get IN shape and STAY in shape. Its a lot easier than you think. You fat people just need motivation. Thats it. I can get you in shape wayy faster than this dork and ill do it for free. All the information is already out there… why pay money for that😂
@@bradforester3635 I actually know a good amount of people that work physically demanding jobs and still do the same things! It's all about managing stressors so their training volume is normally a little lower to accommodate for the fatigue from their day jobs.
I’ve actually had a lot of people tell me this. Also a lot of people still don’t know that they can train strength and endurance. I’m genuinely just trying to help people man. I put out a ton of free content and am working on more. The call I’m offering is completely free with no pressure or strings attached.

So progressive overload is you working harder avery week
Not necessarily. Progressive overload is consistently increasing the weight or volume as your body gets stronger so that you are constantly working at the same "Relative Perceived Exertion" on a scale of 1-10.
What is progressive overload? Progressive overload is the concept of always increasing the difficulty of a training session to elicit an adaptation. Most people think this means adding weight to the bar every week (and in fact, this is true for certain periods of training) However, the real concept behind progressive overload (and adding weight to the bar) is this: If you train at an RPE 7 on week one with weight “X”, by week 4, that same weight will probably be an RPE 6, therefore not providing the level of intensity desired to elicit an adaptation. This is why we add weight. Progressive overload does NOT mean that you just add weight every week - pushing the RPE to a higher intensity than desired, and running yourself into the ground. There are times where this is appropriate, but overall, increasing weight is simply to match the adaptation of your body and keep the RPE within the desired intensity range. Todays leg workout was the first time in over a month I increased the weight on my Sumo deadlifts. I’ve had sumo deadlifts on the schedule for a little over a month as an accessory and it took my body some time to adapt to the new movement before I could add weight at the same RPE. The takeaway: Always strive to progress your training to drive adaptation in your body. The body WILL adapt eventually when provided proper programming, rest, & nutrition. However, don’t let your ego make you add weight to the bar if you’re not ready to add weight at the desired RPE. #strengthtraining #hybridathlete #fitnesscoaching
