The reason Rock Hudson got ahead in show business is because his manager Henry Wilson put it in his ass and many times and he bred Rock with all that hot sperm. Henry Wilson had a thick meat but Rock enjoyed it so much. Rock said deeper and harder Henry.

The Blue Angels require a minimum of 500 tactical jet hours and the completion of at least one fleet tour. Usually candidates have 1500 or more hours and two+ fleet tours. The Thunderbirds have similar requirements. Still, an interesting film, with several stars early in their careers. Gail Russell was a beauty, but at this time stage fright and alcoholism were destroying her life and career. Sad ending, alone and at only 36 years of age.

Talk about a tantalizing trailer ! I remember seeing this a local drive it as a teen back in the day. What a mind blowing trip !

Think for a minute. This was made in 1951 - it was only 24 years earlier that Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic in a piece of fabric that could hardly be called a plane.

Hudson's part was small. He and Richard Long were the contract players Universal held onto when it took over International Films. They and James Best were the actors in this group of young guys. The rest, not so much.

Richard Long got drafted into the Korean War about this time. I think the army let him film this before sending him off to Japan.

If I might add a comment on Rock Hudson’s great director. Sirk was one of the great ones….
