Honestly, I liked Eridanus wayyy more than Sectors C and D. At least the music was pleasant and I didn’t have an Italian pig-beast taunting me all the way through it.

Just a regular Etrian Odyssey stratum, nothing new

this may be me having developed Stockholm syndrome, but eridanus is the best dungeon in the game. at the time of writing this comment i still need to beat sector h and the last sphere of the womb of grief, but i doubt it will change my mind. thank record scratch i gave this game a fair chance after giving up 2 times before this playthrough

Strange journey is pretty baller but the fact that they dont or cant do the manual mapping thing that etrian odyssey has (might be patented?) frustrates me pretty often and in eridanus holy shit do i need it i got really bad memory retention when it comes to small things like numbers and similiar patterns so navigating that teleport maze was so bad that i literally learnt a quarter of my pathing after 2 days and then just looked up the rest nothing on these floors are a threat to me anymore because of how long i was in there level 48 by the time i left

I turned off the bgm when i got roped in with the teleport gimmick. It did wonders for my sanity and my focus on the game.

its great until you get to the teleporter part

I’ll never get why people dunk on sector e so much. It’s really not bad at all. The map looks scary, but they make you traverse it in chunks that are individually very manageable. When I played it, I was expecting an utter nightmare of getting lost and suffering, but it was really no different from the other sectors, it’s just the map was concentrated on fewer floors. People out here whining over nothing. I generally found the later sectors to be wayyy more tedious

empyrean ascent's map makes me look back at this and want to go back so fucking badly (I don't even want to think about how tf I'll be able to beat shekinah)

tbh, smt1's cathedral and womb of grief 6th sphere makes eridanus seem basic
